The only way I can see this working at all is if trading is for some new feature that they'll actually make hard to just cheat in. Possibly tying in to the mysterious cosmetics of the COVK pack.
Everyone's getting way too hyped and completely forgetting the "It seems to be of the people kind" part.
Maybe the tradeable item looting will be handled on some server overkill will set up and there will be no single way to get item from a client,with or without script

Unfortunately that's the only one I don't think is going to be possible to achieve. I mean judging from what I've heard Payday gets at most 16,000 players a day. They're essentially asking us to double the amount of people playing. How are we supposed to do that? Nagging at people who probably give less than a shit about Crimefest anymore? 15,000 people nag their friends to all get on payday 2 at the same time? It's not gonna happen.
And it's not our job to get people to play your game, Overkill.

I was thinking about the priority only goes for the 3 other people since the host is already playing with he's preferred character but that works too.

Considering there's a whopping twenty-five challenges, I don't mind if some of the rewards turned out to be minor stuff like that. Even if only half of the rewards turn out to be major content like a level, weapon packs, a new character or a big new feature, that's still as much content as we got from the first Crimefest.
