Shitting everywhere. I joined a random DW Cook Off. During the final cook everybody went custody but me. I managed to finish the final cook alone and escape with all three bags alone. It was terrifying because I had no real anti-special weapons, I was rolling a Steakout and a Matever. (I think the dude's PC sucked though because the assaults were a lot thinner than they should've been.
Also of note is that was my first real time giving Sociopath a go on Deathwish. I like it. Healing is weaker than other decks thanks to the risk involved but panic's affect on incoming waves is noticeable and profound.

Before that I gave Muscle/Hostage Taker Masterforcer a try on DW Hoxout. People say that Infiltrator is godmode, but I don't know. Passive healing is more significant than you might realize. Infiltrator does heal faster but the problem is that you need to expose yourself to risk to get it.
This is especially important in two scenarios. The first is right after you get downed. You need to melee someone to get healed with Infiltrator. This can be very risky at such low health on DW. With Muscle/Hostage Taker you can just hide a bit and immediately get health to a tolerable level. The second is in between assaults. I've found that with Infiltrator, I often scrambled to find stragglers to get healing in between waves, so that I could be at full health when it started. With passive healing you're always going to be at full health in between waves.
So yeah, I think that the two play styles are actually balanced with each other. Higher damage resistance and quicker, more riskier, healing, vs slower, but reliable, healing. That said, having to ace Hostage Taker to get full effectiveness and always needing to have a hostage can be problematic on certain heists.
A bit odd that the heister isn't coming alongside a heist DLC. Not that I'm craving paid content or anything, it's that they usually do heister dlc+heist dlc.

I'm 12-100 and I pick low threat jobs so I can get some newbies and show em' the ropes. Kind of cute to see players learning mechanics and working as a team, specially when it's new guys.
So I took the decision of entirely leaving payday community once crimefest is done. I just realized I sank around 80€ in a game that now disappoint me. I need more than just taking a break.

Also Crook feels a lot better after the perk deck update, with no supporting skills you've still got a solid 50 armour and avoid 20% of all damage coming at you (Using LBV).

I love PD2 and I've got almost 500 hours on record, but I've pretty much lost interest for the same reason.
Its become way too hard for me to play with friends because of the huge amount of extra content. They don't know what they get and what costs extra, and it makes things more difficult than they should be.
Also, I got tired of having to reinstall shit all the time to get the hud/mods I want. I've been putting off downloading the new patches because I know its going to be such a hassle. People look at the Yakuza pack and see a neat guy and a katana, and I only see another damn patch to download.

Too be fair I don't really care since I buy them when they're on sales (or day one if they're REALLY interesting). And I agree that there is too much DLCs,making the game the game almost pay to win,but eh,I still have fun and that's what is important for me.

The only thing Ive bought full price was the career criminal pre order and gage courier pack. Every other dlc I own was bought on sale as I felt £2 / £1.50 was an acceptable price for it.

Actually maps tool would change a LOT of things to the game because even if it's not official content,freebies will get pretty regularly new heists
Wait, isn't it a tad odd that they're pushing out Jiro before the VA update? I mean, it would make more sense to release him alongside it so everyone has call outs for him. Call me optimistic as hell but maybe they're getting the VA update out sooner?
