I can't believe I hadn't bought this game until now since I really enjoyed the first one and I played a bit of it when it was on Free weekend last time.
Welcome to [del] hell [/del] the crew mang! Hope you bought the GOTY because in case you can't tell from the last 8 or so pages of this thread, there's a lot of DLCs to buy and some are just way too good compared to others (BBQ, Courier, Historical, etc.).
In case you skipped the OP or something, [URL="http://steamcommunity.com/groups/FPPD2"]here's[/URL] the official FP group where you can post announcements in case you need more crew members or just want a smoother experience than pubs, especially since it's free weekend now. Over [URL="http://forums.lastbullet.net/"]here[/URL] is where you can get various mods for the game ranging from simple retextures and sound replacements to whole weapon/difficulty overhauls (DMCWO and SC's Difficulty Overhaul) and even silly shit like RPG arrows for the Bow.
In case you have any questions regarding the game from stuff like how guards call the fucking bomb squad when spotting a gym bag or just general meta/dos and don'ts, then don't be afraid to ask us.

Or, disregard the bullshit cage thing entirely, sit and camp in the bank until you get to the sewer escape and just do that. So much better than trying to throw bags into the cage, then keeping cops away from it, then hoping the pilot doesn't miss, then having him miss anyway even if you bought Expert Pilot, then repeating the process.

It's a good idea to browse through the DLC and grab the ones you like as long as it's for sale right now
It's the only way for a new player to manage getting a sum of these DLCs

not really much, maybe around 15%, though i can assure you that 35% of the members are forced players who dont even know what payday is and that was dragged into the group by their friends

If you're gonna get some of this year's DLCs, then I'd recommend BBQ Pack, Ninja Pack and Sokol.
BBQ for AA-12, Milkor and Flamethrower. All 3 weapons are DW-viable with the right skills and Molotovs are just plain powerful. I personally got it just for the AA-12 because ever since experiencing KF2's AA-12, I've been starving for more games to feature an AA-12 that's both powerful and features a drum-mag, something that this pack offers.
Ninja is also damn nice, shurikens are awesome at stopping Tazers/Cloakers and the W2K is arguably the best sniper in terms of overall DPS. To top it off, the Vector is also essentially a recoilless version of the Jacket's Piece with insane hipfire stats.
Sokol Pack's AS Val is damn good for Silencer Ghost builds and I can verify its effectiveness as my friend does a lot of damage with it on DW. The Grinder deck included is also one of the most effective perk decks in the game and as long as you're killing stuff while still taking cover here and there, you'll be fucking invincible.
Just my two cents, note that some of these packs might not be that worth it for you as you might have a different playstyle from me which also might affect on how often you would use the content provided by these packs.

I hate DLCs too because I'm poor and stuff, but with all due respect, you should try to tone it down.
I kinda want them to release a mod pack for LMGs, maybe a 6th skill tree for it too. Would make them even more fun.

The guy on the screenshot I posted is disrespecting other peoples opinion,that's the problem
I think the way that they could make people less mad would to put at least one community weapon in each category, e.g. One free LMG, One free sniper rifle .etc. That way newer players could try before they buy.

So we got 12 agree on the post of someone who didn't get the point of my post
seeing how they contracted 2 more years of payday, it seems this game support will drop off somewhere in 2017, and seeing overkill pattern of releasing weapon DLC's each 2-3 months, we can assume we'll end up with total amount of 40+ DLC at 2017 :v:

why should there even be payday 3? and even if it happens, we dont need it now, its not necessary, neither after they dropped payday 2 support, i m very certain overkill will get bored of working on payday stuff since 2010 to 2017 (PDTH - PD2 - PD2 DLC) 7 years of working on the same franchise, they still have other games to release, like storm or the walking dead.

First off, you shouldn't care about ratings that much.
Secondly, I may have misunderstood your post in the first place but my point still stands. You frequently make posts in this thread on the subject of DLC and it's incredibly annoying, to be frank I don't think people care either.
That and I'm pretty sure the people of this thread also don't care about what some dude on Steam said.
