seeing how it went like this, i have to agree with papermartin, this has gotten a little bit out of hand, freebies cant use frag grenades now, which means a slight tiny increase in heist failures because they dont have any explosive weaponary at all, not even one, which means theyre doomed when cops swarm the area (unless they know what theyre doing and take cover until assault ends)
if i had to describe this, id say its a bit of forced marketing, the game is becoming harder for freebies and newbies, and they can make it easier by buying some of the DLC.
Grenades are shit though

Yeah, I have to say that making freebies use the cards instead of grenades has been a damned good change. It's incredibly rare for me to see ANYONE do more good than harm with those useless POS teamkillers.
(That being said, the fact that your bog-standard video game hand grenade is behind a paywall is still kind of absurd to me.)

I think it's kinda stupid that the case replenishes only 1 throwable. It made sense when there were only 3 nades, not anymore though.
I'd say, reduce shuriken count to 9 and make the case replenish 1/3 of a total amount. Obvious, yet still not implemented.

why are people afraid that much of grenades? 1 grenade cant really kill you unless you have very low HP, however RPG is a different story, shouldnt you all be scared of that thing?

IMO the grenade case should more have a separate variable for projectiles, i.e. stock a certain number of grenades and a certain number of shurikens/cards

1 bad throw of the frag in suit and you'll die. One poor throw in a situation could kill your teammates. I've seen teams go down from an idiot they're reviving throwing a nade before.
Use molos or dynamite or better yet just get good at killing shields and dozers without a crutch

1 bad throw frag and die with suit? do you mean a close throw? like standing on top the of grenade for example? because i did that many times and it only takes 3 grenades to kill me with suit even when im standing on top of it.

I can't live without them at this point, they are the perfect last resort weapon.
