The SWAT turret thing definitely doesn't help. I used to do loud banks all the time no problem, but those two turrets that pop up literally every single time are just annoying as shit and make things really not fun.
They kinda ruined Four Stores and Bank Heists for me. No real point in playing them loudly, for me at all, because you know doing anything with those things shooting all the damn time is just gonna be painful as hell.
Edit: Firestarter day 3 is fine though. No bags, no problem, once you're done filming you just run to the van and that's it.

Crimefest is around the corner, and this heist leak stuff has been building up for a while. For some reason I'm expecting them to be free during Crimefest. It's a big thing, and Crimefest is the biggest Payday event of the year.
Id be surprised if they released the revamped maps as a 'map pack.' Their usual DLC plan is give them a map, a gun and some masks, bish bash bosh.
Free content in mmos are pretty low effort though and very typically gimped in f2p
A "DLC" in mmo usually costs $60 lol
FPS content vs MMO content is pretty apples and oranges

I'd really like overkill to make more map pack dlc like armored transport and such,that was a great idea but they probably got afraid of it seeing how armored transport map (except train) turned out

Star breeze is actually a public company and they post their earnings quarter on the site once in awhile. I think last time I saw one analyzed it was just $1 mil.
Also at one point I considered buying their stock for shits and saw that their stock is doing extremely poorly over there.
I'm not really sure they're making so big a killing as one would think.
There's also the matter that they're doing 3-4 other games and only able to get money out of one at the moment
It would be good if overkill released the ports for the people who already own Payday: The Heist instead of making us pay a DLC for it.
I mean come on it's only fair for the people that been supporting them from the very beginning be rewarded with something cool like that. And not everybody had the chance to get the original Payday that one time that was free.

At the most I'd expect a Hotline Miami situation where we buy the DLC but if we own the game we get additional masks/patterns/materials from the game

It's a lot of work so I don't know if they'll do this. I thought of something similar,all the original heist for free except the wolfpack one,wich need the wolfpack to be played.
anyway if the game ever get a free sniper/LMG/special what do you think it will be?
Maybe the meme masks for the DLC and something classic like the secret masks/vyse for owning the game

Free would be preferable, obviously, I'm just saying that like $7 or so for 9 unique heists wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they decided to do that. I'm just curious as to what they will do.

as pattern we could get the secret mask pattern and the 145+ pattern but that would mean 5 pattern,overkill usually give 4 in DLCs

If old heists are indeed coming back it would be cool if there were to be an achievement for playing the original characters with the original weapons in one of the heists
