Am I the only one to not play meta at all?
I got the ninja pack and still prefer an R93 over the lebensaugher,and I keep changing loadout all the time. I end up doing good on most overkill game
Someone needs to make a mod to replace Dead Man's Hand with this.

I did starting out, especially to break into Deathwish. If you're not used to the difficulty minmaxing makes the transition easier. Once you get comfortable with that though you can begin fooling around more. I almost never play meta anymore.
I just wished they either made useless armor useful or gave a small speedboost to ICTV

even with meta I only managed to finish 1 loud heists in DW and it was 4 stores before turrets came in

All things considered, Big Bank is one of the easiest DW loud heists. If you'd like to break into it, use Rooster's FP Payday 2 group! It's super handy.

That's kind of silly, though? You have enough armor to tank through the shots and make it to cover on most maps where the turrets are an issue.

one time I was moving a bag in cook off and got downed in the process because I didn't make it to the van quickly enough,there was like 3 enemy left around me and nobody came to get me the fuck up

Transporter aced, shinobi basic are your friend if you plan on making an ICTV tank build.
Jacks right, I have no problem crossing to the van when the turrets firing at me. You also temporarily hide behind a parked car for armour regen before making it to the van quickly. Easy.

Hox in P:TH is just a jokey guy who likes his crew, heists and money though, he just happened to be English. It was only for his return that Overkill thought people must have loved his nationality and thus every new character became a walking stereotype. Besides, he was never more out of place than psychotic singing Swedish man.

I liked Hoxton a lot more in PD:TH than in Payday 2. I'm not exactly sure why, he was slightly more understated in his Britishness, I guess. With Hoxton Breakout he really hams it up with all the wankers and bollocks he spews out whereas in PD:TH it felt more natural and less forced.
I always played as Wolf in PD:TH though. I'm really hoping the voice acting update gives him a lot more lines because that's the only reason why I don't play him that much anymore.

As for the discussion on Hoxton, I liked Hoxton in the first game more than the sequel. Yeah, he was basically only ever popular for his accent, but I liked his sort of fun attitude on heists. When he came back in the sequel, his whole story of being in prison and coming out slightly different (even reflected in his new mask), I sort of don't like him as much anymore. He became even more defined by his accent (he even mentions in the breakout how the crew missed his accent), and he also became a bit of a jerk in my opinion. His attitude towards Houston kinda makes that pretty evident. I much prefer Houston now, though, I kinda wish Houston got his own unique mask.

Clearly didn't play either of the games, Stalker is focused on sandbox and freedom, while Metro is more story-driven game. Also, metro is post-apocalyptic, while in Stalker it's just a small part of Ukraine that got fucked up.
