I hope they make FWB stealthable when they release it in PD2
mmMMmaybe?
The map would have to be significantly reworked to be anything but completely boring if it was stealthable. A huge building with lots of cameras would make the initial rush interesting but then it's just a matter of waiting for a drill and thermite. I would hate for it to be another Big Bank. Eughgh.
Howard Thompson is actually black though if I'm not mistake.
As for the discussion on Hoxton, I liked Hoxton in the first game more than the sequel. Yeah, he was basically only ever popular for his accent, but I liked his sort of fun attitude on heists. When he came back in the sequel, his whole story of being in prison and coming out slightly different (even reflected in his new mask), I sort of don't like him as much anymore. He became even more defined by his accent (he even mentions in the breakout how the crew missed his accent), and he also became a bit of a jerk in my opinion. His attitude towards Houston kinda makes that pretty evident. I much prefer Houston now, though, I kinda wish Houston got his own unique mask.
Houston should have his own mask really, the one he wears will always mean Hoxton to me and as long as he has it he'll always be in Hox's shadow rather than standing tall as his own character.

Turf war screenshot "just" got posted
The fact that they used the wrong font for the gensec logo bothered me greatly
Will be fun to see people that haven't played PDTH react to all the remake's badass and cinematic stuff

I can see it now
"Wtf overshill ripped off saints row the fuckers"

Wat
It has nothing to do with saints row
Saints row 3 used the idea of lifting a vault by helicopter two years after PDTH did it in panic room
Wat

intro to saints row 3 had you removing an entire safe from a building via helicopter, its just a joke
They also had swat uniforms and presence/waves jokes that might have been meant as parody but I don't expect 75% of the payday community to realize payday did it first
Saints row 3 used the idea of lifting a vault by helicopter two years after PDTH with panic room
PD2 community is pretty bad but not that bad
swat turret would be better with 1/20th the health
dgaf bout tryhards saying "oh but if everyone on the time magdumps it twice at the same time hitting the weakspot its really ez 2 kill"
nothing else in the game requires that much teamwork and precision for such a common enemy
I've found that not even that works. We thought we could get it so I started Bulletstorm with my LMG and ran right into the turret, with another guy just emptying all his ammo into it at the same time. We both went down before the damn thing died. I still think the best strategy is avoidance.
I've been listening to all of the vo files from PDTH, and even though Chains was my least favorite in PDTH, he doesn't seem to be as bad as you all remember him being. He's definitely just an angry black man stereotype, but the VA does a pretty good job with what he was given. It seems to be Damion Poitier's Chains in 15 years.

I'm pretty sure Saints Row 3 and PD1 were released the same year

Let me post the objective strings again from the last thread:
Enter the bank
(Loud) Locate the server room
(Stealth) Locate the security room
Find a keycard
(Loud) Get the drill and thermite
(Stealth) Hack the security system
Empty the vault
(Loud) Setup the drill by the vault gates
(Stealth) Get to the vault
Secure the loot
(Loud) Wait for the drill to finish
(Stealth) Hack the vault system
(Loud) Erase the security footage
Escape Available
Get the thermite
Escape through the ventilation
Pour out the thermite to melt the floor
Melt the floor
Blow a hole in the wall

So is it confirmed now that PDTH levels are coming to PD2? People are talking like it is but there's still old 'PDTH levels are too hard to port' things everywhere.
It's all but confirmed. With the amount of leaked resources and text strings, it's almost a certainty that these will happen.
PD2 community is pretty bad but not that bad
Yeah they are lol
People are that bad
Some people think references to the ending to Raiders of the Lost Ark are references to family guy because family guy parodied it at one point
There's an endless supply of stupid out there.
Plot twist: fbi files are a melee weapon

For some reason I was thinking sr3 came out in 2013, must've been sr4
Shit my jokes ruined SR3 did it first
WTF OVERSHILL?!
Okay so, I have a question for all of you:
Can you think of any heist without one civilian on it, excluding Cook Off which is an offshoot of another heist? (Not individual days, but the entire heist.)
I think meltdown lacked civs?
-Snip-
I'd probably think of more if I was looking at the list of heists
I think meltdown lacked civs?
I believe some hardhat civilians are around at the start.

Meltdown, it's painful without Dominator.

Well there's a lot of datamining that suggests that it is happening
Also in the Hoxton VA session stream that Simon did he said "These are lines from the first but we want new ones of them"
They could well be lines they originally recycled but i am sure Simon wouldn't record them on stream if anything
It appears as though I'm wrong.
I believe some hardhat civilians are around at the start.
I think it's only on shadow raid and I'm just thinking of seeing them from "loud" shadow rushing
Been working on my solo skills, focused only on Bank Heists on Very Hard or Overkill, but I tend to be rather sloppy and always mess it up at some point. I really need to git gud.
However, after a lot of work, I was able to destroy a SWAT van turret with a CAR-4, so I have that going for me, which is nice. :')
this game is kinda good and addicting.
Indeed it is.
I hope they change the plot in the remake so bain isn't the contractor of those,he already has far too much heists
this game is kinda good and addicting.
this is the worst fucking game ive played in my life
