I hope they change the plot in the remake so bain isn't the contractor of those,he already has far too much heists
Instead it'll be contracted by future seer and time travel/magical mastermind Zoltar [editline]23rd August 2015[/editline] I mean he turned that kid into Tom Hanks why not
this is the worst fucking game ive played in my life
I played it during the free weekend and it was ok, minus how all of the better guns are all DLCs. I also figured that the 30k online this past weekend will drop down to whatever the usual amount is. Is the game worth getting? Maybe.
It's CAR-4, not AMR-16. AMR has some ammo issues (but it's fun to use).
Gotcha!
IIRC the Car 4 is actually really shitty without the Mod Courier DLC and/or the Car/AK DLC packages.
IIRC the Car 4 is actually really shitty without the Mod Courier DLC and/or the Car/AK DLC packages.
Most guns are shitty without the courier DLC, except a few of the DLC guns and the AUG. The AUG however, can currently get 42 damage while keeping maxed out accuracy and stability without any DLC, so it's very good for people who don't have DLC gear.

They added so much DLCs since the last time I played (which was last years free to play weekend). Oh and the cloaker is OP, even if you shoot 30 bullets into his chest at almost point blank range when it's about to roundhouse kick your face.

I was also told that all of the good scopes/sights are all in the DLCs.. somewhere.
I was also told that all of the good scopes/sights are all in the DLCs.. somewhere.
Lots of scopes are in Mod Courier DLC and one sight is in Armored Transport, both of which are included in GOTY edition. If you're getting that, you won't miss out on them. Most free scopes are nice too, though.
I was also told that all of the good scopes/sights are all in the DLCs.. somewhere.
Ehh, sights are, sights, really. They're all kind of the same save for magnification level in this game; the only real difference between the free ones and DLC ones is how absurdly rare the non-DLC sights can be if you don't do daily contracts religiously.
Something I should probably clarify since there's probably some people here who aren't all that familiar with this game: 42 damage, 18 accuracy, and 25+ stability is basically the best combination of stats you can get in an assault rifle in this game. 42 damage can 1-shot snipers on non-deathwish difficulties, 18 accuracy is the highest accuracy rating that actually works (some guns can show higher but the game will just round them down to 18), and stability can't exceed 25 without skill bonuses. And when it comes to sights which one you get is purely aesthetic, the mod courier pack just has a lot of sights and they're far less tedious to obtain than sights in other packs. In Payday 2 you can adjust the retical and color of every optic sight attachment. Keep in mind though that some guns (Reinbeck, Locomotive, and Piglet) are misaligned when using sight attachments.
Also, get this mod which shows weapons actual stats and also shows extra information: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/PD2-BWS-GUI

Honestly every gun works well enough if you know how to use it properly People give the Krinkov a lot of shit but i actually like using it sometimes
Honestly every gun works well enough if you know how to use it properly People give the Krinkov a lot of shit but i actually like using it sometimes
I love the Cobra even though it's probably one of the worst SMGs in the game.
Honestly every gun works well enough if you know how to use it properly People give the Krinkov a lot of shit but i actually like using it sometimes
I don't know the fake names of the guns but that's the AKMSU right? That one is a lot of fun to use, the reload animation is snazzy as fuck too. If you slap on the right mods and get it to look tactical as hell with all black parts it looks insane.
:snip:
Pretty sure Hoxout has civs on the garage part and Rats has on the bus part.
Fuck it I'm snipping it all At least that got cleared up
Hoxton Breakout Meltdown Rats (if you don't count the dying cooks as civs) Watchdogs The Transport heists except Train Heist
Hoxton Breakout: Day 1 has like 2 civilians on the garage part. Day 2 is full of civilians. Rats: Day 3 has civilians on the entire bridge. Watchdogs: Day 1 is clear of civilians yes, but day 2 has 2 workers civilians. Transport: All the transport heists has civilians to tie.
Watchdogs day 2 and all of the Transports have civilians too, though I think there's only like 2-3 spawned pretty far away on Harbor.
Ok, so I got the GOTY edition. Time to spend hundreds of hours on this game.. I also haven't bought a Steam game in probably 3+ years Also someone tell me what assault rifle and attachment combo is best after getting the goty dlcs. It seems like the Queens wrath rifle is the best when stock spec wise compared to my moderately molded AK.
It's so hard getting spendable cash in this game. I raked in $280k on a jewellery store heist (I think it was, it was a lot of money IIRC) and I still only have $15k spending allowance...
Money is only hard to get at the beggining, then when you start to get money you see how easy you lose it because the absurd prices to attach simple stuff to weapons like a silencer. Eventually you will see how easy Overkill can be handle and you will be making quick money most of times. But yeah, 80% of your earnings goes to your offshore account, which only use is to go infamous the first times. Unlock some builds slots and, when available, offshore Payday which the card selection game only expensive as hell.

I just don't understand why the displayed stats have to say one thing, but the actual 'true' game stats have something different to say. And worst yet is due to Overkill's handling of the game as a whole, a lot of the stuff minus damage is poorly explained, or not displayed, nor explained. Such as reload time, or spread. Is it just like a deliberate choice to have the displayed stats deceive you, and not actually reflect what's happening? Or are they just inept with their numbers they can't help it?

[editline]24th August 2015[/editline] Anyways apparently I can't aim down sight on the light machine guns, sprinting sucks when you have so much armour and having a mouse with a bunch of buttons is useful as fuck. No more trying to use the movement keys and telling everyone to hit the deck, meleeing the threats and such.
