I rarely use shotguns for primaries. Need to give those a try along with the Raven which I've been using only for stealth by now.
Raven is my all time favorite shotgun cause it's the one John Wick used

Joceline + Bullet Storm HAHAHAHAHAHA
Anyone have any heists they'd consider underrated? I really love the adjustments to the standalone train heist, it actually makes it enjoyable to play loud, but hardly anyone plays it. :frown:

That's really the only underrated heist I can think of, because basically everything else seems to be praised, or it's average. Actually, you know what, Go Bank is also another underrated one. It has too much fucking RNG regardless how you do it, but it can be pretty fun with a good team loud.
I kind of want to see a mask that has a very tiny face on the center of the bigger mask.
Okay this is outright hilarious. Hoxton Breakout on Hard Pro Job and yet i don't get anyone to join me? What the flying fuck. [editline]24th August 2015[/editline] Scratch that, just got a full team after writing this down.

My only issue with the heist is the difficulty. Having to worry about snipers everywhere is one thing, but on top of that you have two rooftops that cops regularly camp on that you need to keep clean while simultaneously keeping the streets as clear as possible so that they don't mess with your loot bags while you wait for the plane to grab them. On top of that you have all the RNG elements during stealth, which don't help either. Though I will say that if you go in with a good team it's not too bad, but I mainly play with pubs, so I don't always get people who know what they're doing unless they've got a good number of infamy levels. One thing I like to do is hop in lower difficulty Go Bank lobbies in order to help out newer players, because of how difficult the heist is for them.
My main issue with payday is I like playing it as a game where some friends and I can just pop in and fuck around in a heist, but so much is situational that I can't really see myself playing it casually. the amount of guides to weapon stats and perfect builds, the requirement of extreme coordination to take out a swat turret, not to mention the toxic playerbase, just isn't as fun as something like l4d where I can just say "I want to use a shotgun now" and not have to worry about how the shotgun is set up and if I need a shotgun for the upcoming situation.

In terms of heists that have fun maps, I also reckon Art Gallery's a good one.
Shadow Raid is so underrated it's crazy. Probably the most thematic/cinematic heist in the game. The music is top-fucking-shelf, the lay out is great, everything is super. Sad it got an EXP and money nerf but whatever, still fun to play.

That's one of things we never got an ETA on. I'm kinda worried Overkill forgot about the whole Shadow Raid thing, and the low experience supposedly being a temporary fix to the ECM rushing tactic. Wondering if Coyoteze can inform us if it's still a project in the works over there. If you're still looking for ideas, I'm happy to oblige too.

So I don't have the faintest clue. Even then, if something isn't announced I'm not allowed to talk about it. Sorry. Them's the rules.
Coyoteze does overkill still have Jacket with the brown hair shown in the last day of the hype train before it got fixed? Quickly rate this post funny and win a free dlc of your choice from my part. Ends in 10 minutes. [IMG_thumb]http://jesusfuck.me/di/4R4S/screenshot-2015-08-24-11-51-16.png[/IMG_thumb] Add me or I'll add you.

Damn though, that was a fast response, you're like stalking the thread always ready to answer whenever somebody requires your counsel.

Like today, I just decided I wanted to be 80s action movie man, so I grabbed the Reservoir Dogs shades, a Reinfeld and an Uzi, slapped some mods on so they looked cool, and jumped right into a pub game. [t]http://i.imgur.com/56Th8Ju.jpg[/t] I'd say it worked out pretty well.
fair enough, I just haven't had enough good experiences like that I guess
Just watched a film in which some heisters are robbing a bank and everyone wears a mask except Keanu Reeves. Sounds familiar? Yeah, it's Point Break. Makes you wonder if that was one of the reasons that they thought John Wick should be in Payday 2.
Armor does slow you down a lot, but you can mitigate it somewhat by taking Sprinter Aced and Shinobi Basic from the Ghost skill tree, and Run & Gun from the Fugitive skill tree. Gives you enough extra speed to at least move at a decent enough pace in even the ICTV while sprinting. Also a good idea to at least get basic Endurance from the Mastermind skill tree, to give you more stamina for sprinting.
Cool, I thought I could only use one skill tree at a time or something, didn't know I could mix and match. I guess I should do that, and respec it since I never use the saw for anything so I'd get back money and points. I guess if I respec, I technically loose money from them? Too bad I can't unspec specific skills that are already enabled. Basically my sprinting right now with the full armor is not any faster than regular walking. Also are the machine guns supposed to not let you aim down sights or was something buggy going on with my client? Hip firing was basically useless with the LMGs.
Yeah lmgs don't allow you to ads only do a zoom in for balancing reasons. Best you can do is increase accuracy with gun mods.
Just replayed some of the PD:TH maps and they're all so damn good. Specially Counterfeit, where you can legit see a SWAT van punch through the wall of the Wilson house, starting from when it drives up to the house right up until it pulls over and floors it towards the windows. Somehow I doubt that Overkill will add that into the ported heists on Payday 2. Their maps have gotten a lot less climactic and cinematic, but they sure as hell have increased the map count because of that.
Queen's Wrath is a good gun on paper but it gets fucked over by hidden stats. Two easiest guns to mod well are CAR-4 and AK Rifle (not the 762 version). Even with the quad-stacked mags you can max them out and it's easy to keep them fed with ammo (so long as you go easy on the full-auto).
Damn, that sucks. I guess I'll keep using and modding my AK rifle and maybe check out the AUG. Any other good ARs to use?
Damn, that sucks. I guess I'll keep using and modding my AK rifle and maybe check out the AUG. Any other good ARs to use?
The Commando and Lion's Roar are both great guns if you have their relevant DLCs, there are only two or three ARs that are really "bad" per se, so don't be too afraid to experiment when you're not on deathwish. Of course having more mods in stock for any given gun will almost invariably improve your capabilities with it.
If I respec, do I technically loose money?
Nothing like taking your favorite weapons to a session of Cook Off and have a good time headshotting Tazers, Shields and those son of their mothers, Cloakers.
