So have the Payday gang have stopped hiding their identities now? Bonnie is an overweight short-haired Scottish lady with a Scottish flag mask and distinctive tattoos. Dragan goes by his real name and has a Croatian flag on his mask. Sokol is a famous Russian hockey player whose mask suggests that he's a famous Russian hockey player. Jiro possibly goes by his real name, has a Japanese-style mask and distinctive tattoos on display. They're all minorities in Washington D.C., do these people want to be caught?
You have to be joking me.
Do you really think that the story is here for real?
Story in PD2 is just like story in porn.

They can kill hundreds of cops without any problems,so I guess they don't really give a fuck. And if they ever get caught...
[heister name] breakout

Then again, since Infamy, you could just put some shades on anyone in the gang, so...
Looks cool, like the poster/wallpaper and music.
Ugh, kinda lame that he has no heist. He's the one character that would benefit the most from having a little one day thing about his 3 minute long backstory video. Kinda feels like wasted potential to me.
Again, I would love it if they made GB about Kento. Would fit in perfectly.
Isn't that most of PD2 anyway?
Wow. I've been so utterly accustomed to PD2's mediocrity that this just slipped right past me. I legit was expecting something.
Wish I could go back in time and stop PD2 from being so damn dissapointing compared to PD:TH. Atleast when L4D2 came out one year after L4D it kept most of the cool features that made L4D so good.
One thing I have to say I'm really liking about this new guy is that mask. It has a lot of unique personality to it and does a good job of reflecting the wearer's origin without just slapping a flag on it. It's very Kabuki-esque, which is pretty much ideal for inserting a Japanese character into Payday 2.

to me it's too detailed compared to other heister's mask but that's not really a problem
Last night on the final day of the Framing Frame mission: Host is like "I'm getting sleepy". *connection to host lost*
WHYYY.
I don't know if this was Overkill's intention or not. But with the new perk deck, bulletproof aced, die hard aced and a teammate using armourer you could effectively get 110% armour regeneration. Holy fuck. I guess the only way you could get downed is by getting overwhelmed, wallbanged by snipers or breaking your own legs.
Tailoring a jacket shouldn't cost more than $100 unless the shoulders don't fit. If the shoulders don't fit that's going to really hurt. Getting the waist tapered should be around $40-50, sleeves around $20, chest around $30, not sure about the jacket's actual length. Priority of fitting should be sleeves and waist first, those are essential, and then length and chest.
Edit: Now that there's pictures, all the brown jacket really needs is waist and possibly chest tapering. But the convention is in 3 days, and I have never heard of a tailor who will get it in and out in 3 days.
Yeah, I'm probably just gonna go with the Wick. Alternatively I could just do the classic "Reservoir Dogs" black suit/white shirt, but I think all-black is a bit snazzier.
Still can't believe I don't remember the jacket fitting that poorly. I mean, I guess I haven't worn it in several years but it's not like I was bigger back then or anything.

holy fuck i won something?!! i cant believe it, i never win anything in my life.
I can imagine Jiro introducing himself to the payday gang, when Bain asks him to do so, and he goes out on a heist with the original 4, and he just sees how they massacre everyone with Flamethrowers, RPGs, Molotovs, miniguns, etc. And he just ends up being disturbed about the so called "professionalism" they have, then he goes heisting with the other heisters and he sees the same if not more disturbing bullshit they pull off, and he realizes that he just signed up to be a national terrorist for the US.

"I just want my son back"
I think I'm going to pass on this one until sale, like with the Western pack.
As an aside it slightly annoys me how much they're leaning on the Yakuza gimmick. Clover Character Pack! Contains Clover! Dragan Character Pack! Includes Dragan! Sokol Pack! Comes with Sokol! Yakuza Pack! You get Yakuza.... Oh wait we mean Jiro, we're only calling him Yakuza because Japan.
plz make at least one of his follow me lines, "notice me, [heister]"
Would be nice if the berserker skill was affected by the Oni Irezumi perk card, starting at 50% would really let it shine.
Also I hope that music is going to be in heists.
I'll wait until review to buy it,I'm not sure if it will be that good

How many masks can we consider canon anyway? The games emphasise them a lot but other than the standard masks and Charlie Santa masks I can't think of any.

I think only the masks appearing in trailers and such are canon. remember that hundred of civies saw you before you put your mask on,so there's not much logic about this

Also using different masks each time would be confusing.
"Nobody move, it's a robbery!"
"Erhm... who are you?"
"We are Payday gang!"
"Of course you are, amateurs, you don't even have their masks."
remember that john wick is canon and wear shades when heisting.

Dead people don't talk ◕‿◕
I'm curious about something, maybe somebody from Overkill, or somebody who is knowledgeable can possibly answer it..
So, some objects in the game are modeled after real-life things, right? Such as the vault door in Big Bank for example. Could anybody actually pinpoint, or know exactly what the 'beast' drill in Big Bank is based on in real life? I have a similar curiosity on the device used to cut open the vault in the Golden Grin, but my best guess for that is it's just a plasma cutter fixed on a circular rail or something.
I find it unsatisfying that there isn't a ginormous hole in the Big Bank's vault door after drilling finishes.
So does anyone have builds for using infiltrator?
remember that john wick is canon and wear shades when heisting.
Remembering that John Wick is already famous for his work with his real name before he joined
So does anyone have builds for using infiltrator?
Pretty much any techforcer with ghost speed and fugitive speed
just did hotline miami,on day 2 some level 1-56 was lost in the building for the whole game,we were waiting for him to upgrade the drill,he finally get on the last floor and the vault open
for the whole day he was lost and the only thing he did was shooting 2 or 3 cops and moving some bags at the end.
true example of productivity.
Why didn't any of you help him out? Go down the ramp to the floor he's on, stay there, and yell "follow me" until he figures out the way up.
Yeah really the way up from the second to third floors is not obvious at all. When HM first came out, my first run of it involved all four of us being stuck there trying to find it for at least 5 minutes.
Plus being a DLC heist that's not commonly played, it's entirely possible the dude had never even played it before.
