Please, Overkill, please make your next new weapon a secondary semi-automatic carbine. You got my hopes up with the Golden Grin and crushed them in an instant when you made the Cavity a primary and not a secondary. I've got five dollars waiting just for you to make it happen, be it an M1 carbine, a mini-14, a Hi-Point 995, or fuck, anything similar that fits the criteria of semi-automatic carbine. Just make it for the secondary slot and it's all yours. Help me complete my marksman dream.

The yakuza perk deck is pretty useless, armor regen has a capped speed of 2 seconds (apparently) after the cops are done shooting at you in online games so the rest of the bonus is just wasted. Other than that you basically get a constant inspired effect at half health but without the reload bonus. The katana is nice though.

Only one enemy with one weapon as one specific character. So much work went into something that I highly doubt will really be expanded
To be completely honest I'm kinda surprised that Overkill hasn't experimented with customization for armor in some form. A set of samurai armor equal to iron man that gives additional melee damage boosts or Bulldozer armor with stupidly high resistances but you move really slow would be really cool. [sp]samurai armor could either be dlc or unlock with the same achievement you get the menpo from.[/sp] [sp]bulldozer armor would be really cool as an actual armor upgrade that unlocks for having bullet proof and iron man at the same time.[/sp]
Poked around for new sound effects. Didn't find anything for Jiro, I think maybe he just triggers the g90 warcry when charging his melee. Did find out that the Mysterious Xeno gun has sound effects already, sounds like shooty boolets. Baseless speculation, but with an internal name like Xeno maybe it'll be modeled after the Pulse Rifle from Alien?

There is definitely a delay after being shot at though, seeing how you don't recharge until after you're done being suppressed.
So apparently Bulldozers are equipped with nanomachines? Everytime I hit one with the katana, even in the bare face it does no damage (I've tested it with pocohud health counters active, he was at 300 health and my katana with 3x dam from zerker did nothing in the 4 times I swung all over his body and face)
I don't know what's wrong with me. I think that armor in Payday 2 is actually pretty good to run and is just as viable as dodge. But I think I got spoiled with rouge and crook because is the only thing I feel comfortable using it. I rarely use armor nowadays even with the perk decks revamp. Also I think it looks more natural for the Payday crew to use bullet vests instead of huge ass armor suits.

I guess the katana isn't flagged as one of those bladed weapons.
Bulldozers may only be hurt by weapons that are coded as the type "knife" or by the boxing gloves. Kinda dumb a Katana isn't considered a knife, especially since melee type means absolutely nothing other than if it can hurt a bulldozer.

I tried to stack armor regen once to see if it was any good and it's pointless because of the cap I dont remember how it works exactly but the regen is delayed aswell if you're getting shot at, even if you're not getting hit

It's set up to handle dismemberment for pretty much every part of the body. The Cloaker only has upper body and head gibs though.

You know perhaps it's time to search for updates on your mods when you slowly realise during a heist that all the other heisters besides you are speaking with wolfs voicelines. It's quite unerving being surrendered by a dallas, dragan and even clover all yelling with the same voice.

However, being shot at (not being hit) delays and resets armor regen basically surpressing you: [quote=The Long Guide] When enemies shoot in your general direction or melee you (whether they miss or hit or you dodge), the armor regeneration delay is not only reset, but also blocked from running down for 1 second. Also if you get hit and lose your armor, another shot of the same damage will still hurt you (even though there's supposed to be a cooldown of 0.45 seconds (0.35 on Deathwish) between getting hit by damage equal or lesser) because the game uses the damage taken via armor rather than total damage. Example (via Long Guide): A Techforcer with 314.5 armor but no damage reduction skills attacked by a black Bulldozer on Deathwish difficulty at a range less than 10 m (damage at least 350) will lose his entire armor on the first hit and then become protected against attacks dealing 314.5 damage or less. The next Bulldozer attack [I]0.14 seconds[/i] later will [I]down the player.[/I]

Plus, even before this new update she had more call out lines than most of the other heisters. In another news, just had a 23 minute day one Rats session end with a failure because a cloaker kicked someone and then me when I went to help them. Fun times.

Another heister, another sleeve to update for my mod. Although Jiro's sleeves are pretty much on point, except for a teeny tiny bit of discolouration on the suit sleeve.
