I am impressed. It's low detection, a fun smg, and it kills cops just fine. Is just a meta thing or
I hear all this talk about Bonnie having sokol and Jiro lines But nobody has mentioned how Sokol has Jiro lines On the launch of Jiro JI-RO
i stopped playing payday 2 right after sokol was released and we were theorising about the jap pack what's actually happened
I hope the other characters get some berserk screaming with the Katana. Chains especially.
i stopped playing payday 2 right after sokol was released and we were theorising about the jap pack what's actually happened
I can't tell if that was a question or not, but the Japanese Pack pretty much happened.
where do you guys get these day time heists? is it a mod i missed?
It's part of the Alpha restoration mod (Gives some heists a chance to have a different time of day), although I do remember some guy figuring out how to change the time of day on the fly (in-game), but apparently it broke with the Alesso heist.

Pub games are suffering. Join a simple Hoxout. Get to the first turret, host sits right in its field of fire and plinks at it with his assault rifle. Gets downed. Inspire him up. Keeps standing there, plinking at the turret. Gets downed again. Inspire again. Keeps standing there. Gets downed again. Inspire again. Standing. Downed. Inspire. Standing. Custody. "You have been kicked from the game" [sp]Unrelated, but glasses sit pretty low on Jiro's face, it looks weird with most of them, but with the Wick shades it fits.[/sp]

I hope they expand the katana thing to other policemen and also other characters because 5 bucks for gibs on one NPC is less than lame, it's lame-o. Also is anyone still really curious as to why the PD2 Bulldozer is wearing a EOD suit that slows him the fuck down and makes him ridiculously ineffective compared to the PD:TH bulldozer in heavy combat gear that sprinted at you while saying things in a creepy radio voice? Technically the old Bulldozer also has a EOD suit, but it's significantly lighter and more intended for combat guessing by the amount of ballistic plates and ammo pouches slapped on it. Just look at 'em. Sprinty; Not so sprinty and also not even holding gun properly

I could never take the PDTH dozer seriously because he looks like a spaceman :v:
Must be tacticool reasons since any person who's not all that knowing would think that bulky armor/suit = bulletproof. Not to mention that it looks similar to the Juggernaut armor from CoD which kinda attracted a few unaware console players. Hell, even I thought it was bulletproof when I first encountered the Dozer and didn't even know the basic concept of gas operation and how shotguns irl could hit targets past 10 meters :v: Anyway, I preferred the PD:TH Dozer since he looks more fitting as a bulletproof special and had the ability to sprint which would really heat things up if you weren't careful.
Sprinting Skulldozer
I can't tell if that was a question or not, but the Japanese Pack pretty much happened.
I think he's saying after he stopped he was joking about a racist japanese pack and what it would contain and now that's actually happened(?)

I mean sure, the suits are good because the Payday fellas still field grenades and other explosive ordnance, but it's undeniably worse in combat since you can't sprint or also stare people down with your unchanging poker face. What if the new GenSec enemy was a return of the PD:TH Bulldozer with some different name i.e Juggernaut? They'd essentially be lighter and more actively threatening versions of the Bulldozer with their sprinting and their spaceman poker faces.

I've always thought about a hypothetical version of Death Wish that doesn't have the damage and health changes to enemies, but gives them new AI functions, and gives special enemies unique abilities that aren't present on other difficulties. The Bulldozer being able to sprint would be one such ability to name. Fun without sponge or high-damage bullshit I think, but I can't mod, so I could never make the dream come true.
I think that if jiro's katana dismembers enemies while he is using it, overkill should go back and retroactively add special effects to the other Dlc characters when they use their signature close combat weapons. Maybe have a chance jacket will say "Do you know what time it is???" while charging up with the hammer, accompanied by a caved in skull effect on any special cops you hit, stuff like that.
He sprinted before release, too, in CCE. It was... scary.
I think the damage they output with their shotguns even at long range more makes it up for their lack of movement. Imagine a Skulldozer with the same speed of the Payday: The heist Bulldozers It would be a nigthmare to complete any Deathwish mission since you can usually have 3 or more Dozers at the same time in a assault wave. I Still don't understand the logic of people that want Dozers to be buffed. They pretty much tear through you by just looking at you in Deathwish.
Some people are masochists.
Honestly bulldozers are easier to deal with than tasers and shields nowadays Bulldozers die within seconds
