is that chains on jiros model
So uh, how are you guys getting info from Paydaycon? Is there some kind of stream going on or something?
I'm just hearing things through the grape vine is all. I have a friend in attendance and I'm reading a bunch of threads. Can't speak for anyone else though.
:snip:
There's a PAYDAYCON Exclusive mask pack that's not integrated in the game yet. I got a code and no one is getting it.
Yeah, I did play the game, not for 300 hours though, just some measly 75, did 2 145+ heists before I got bored. And during most of my games cloakers rarely charged, they usually just stand still, shoot and do nothing. And if they decide to charge at you, they'll pretty much never stop the chase until you kill them. Now they do various attacks, ambush players and react faster. And judging by thousands of stories about getting downed by cloakers, they're definitely a solid threat. Tasers yeah, I always thought them stopping the tase is a glitch of some sort myself, but I'm glad they give you a second chance. And still, I don't agree that PD:TH is better in terms of quality. I know that people love the "old is better" thingy, but PD:TH is just 4 years old, it's a pretty new game. Heists have great replayability, there's lots of chatter between characters and it feels alive, it's great, but mechanics, progression and difficulties are badly designed. It definitely doesn't feel like "legit challenge" when 145+ instantly sends 4 sprinting dozers at you on Heat Street near the landing zone, even Death Wish doesn't do that. It's also ridiculously unforgiving to new players, killing their interest as soon as the assault begins and they get shredded to pieces on Normal.
Just thought is put my two cents in. I've played a fair amount of PD:TH and PD2.ive had much more buggy experiences with cloakers in the latter. Many, many times they just stand and crouch and look at you. Half the time they don't even charge at you. And the other half when they do, they usually glitch through obstacles or disappear for a moment and then insta kick you through the wall. I can safely say in PD2 they are as equally buggy as they are functional, and even then I'm not sure if that's correct. However, in PD:TH, it's the exact opposite. I've never had buggy encounters with them and whenever one charges, I'm usually able to sprint backwards through the map and depend on my teammates to kill the cloakers while I sprint away (which is a feature I really miss). Tasers in payday 2 are also bugged in the sense where they tase you for a second and then stop. That's definitely not intended and you can see its just some weird A.I. bug if you're looking at them when they do this to you. The specials AI in PD2 is far more buggy than in PD:TH.

Things getting in the way can be other cops, team mates, animation making their head go behind something, you sliding after being tased into a position where their or your head is obscured, etc.
I got to show Derek Ray and Eric Etebari how to play the game. Eric couldn't get the hang of aiming so he handed it off to me and had me pilot (with his arm around my shoulder, of course). I made my amends with Almir and talked with Simon about some stuff. It was really fun! More like a hangout than a con. I [sp]got the complete E3 poker mask set, along with this mystery PAYDAYCON mask pack[/sp], and a t-shirt! The drinks were free too, and they gave out some Xbox Ones during the QA. Oh, and one of the Xbox units had debug mode enabled.
shoulda called it payday party
five nights at freddies crossover promotional pack, only 12 dollars!
dont mention that dirty name infront of my payday, never..
Surprising no-one at all, Almir has mentioned at paydaycon they're going to be adding a new Australian female heister soon.
If its anything like CHKilroy's voice here I'm buying this day 1.
Fuck, got kicked because i sad that he group owner should kick the idiot who decided to 'solo while being an idiot' and apparently that idiot was a friend of the session owner. Should've escaped faster when i saw that the idiot had the sentry equipped. Also is the armor bag any useful?

By the way, i'm thinking to visit the Lion Game Lion studios this/next year. Do you guys have any questions for them? E: I should mention that i live like 60 km away from the studios.
where is the studio
I'm gonna die laughing so hard if the new female heister has a accent like the Sniper from TF2: Cheers mate! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN! awwn that's just apples mate
Urine jar throwable
Australian heister is a good chance to add in Sniper perk deck.
are Australians known for being good snipers or something? I thought Canada was supposed to have the best snipers in the world
I guess its because of Australian hunters.
are Australians known for being good snipers or something? I thought Canada was supposed to have the best snipers in the world
Nope, just because TF2 What Australians are known for is backpacker killers... so a perk deck based around murdering civilians? Also bonus points if Sydney is secretly Azaria Chamberlain
are Australians known for being good snipers or something? I thought Canada was supposed to have the best snipers in the world
I was just refering to TF2 v:v:v But really, I won't mind sniper-related perks. I mean, I know that sniper rifle buffs is the least needed thing in the game, but I'm just quite bored of using them, something to change your playstyle based around them would be appreciated.
He's from New Zealand though [editline]29th August 2015[/editline]
I was just refering to TF2 v:v:v But really, I won't mind sniper-related perks. [editline]29th August 2015[/editline] If it really was a sniper deck it'd probably effect ARs too just like the SMG gets put into LMG deck bonuses
So perhaps Sydney will tie us over till September 24th since that's when the FBI Files+GenSec enemy drop? However I don't remember seeing her mentioned in those leaked strings so she might be coming later.

I could deal with the other heisters being national stereotypes, but now it's like Overkill isn't even trying. What's next, a Canadian heister called Toronto? A German heister called Berlin?

Hopefully she'll get a cool personality or a neat backstory like Jiro.
