So the AMR won't be as useful until I get the more ammo perk?
I personally always use the AMR over the CAR even without the ammo perk, but the CAR 4 is better in terms of practicality. If you use the AMR just be more conscious of your ammo use.
So the AMR won't be as useful until I get the more ammo perk?
AMR has one of the highest RoF stats in the assault rifle class (Tied for third place with the Lion's Roar), CAR-4 has a whopping 60 more ammo. Really, the question comes down to whether you want a gun that's much easier to use sustainably or a gun that can empty its entire mag into a bulldozer's face in a fraction of a second.
I wrote that message for PaperMartin specifically, I know you meant a different thing. But still, PD:TH's progression is probably the weakest part of the game. Heists are difficult to complete for newcomers, it gets pretty tedious and without any step-by-step completion you'd be stuck at level 20-30 forever without help of high-leveled players. But in PD2 there's tutorial levels like Jewelry/Diamond Store that teach new players and award them with easy XP, preparing them for difficult heists. I just don't feel like it's neccessary to award XP instantly for each objective. Players should strive to victory until the end instead of going "eh, let's kill ourselves after getting 7 bags of meth on Rats to get 4m xp". Also yeah, tagging for XP is so goddamn annoying in KF2, I absolutely hate it.
Yeah I guess the exp by progress % is important in PD:TH because it's a lot slower and a lot harder. I still want a bonus for the MVP. As it stands, unless I'm playing with a couple friends or an exceptional pubbie, I feel like I'm the only one that actually bothers to go hard and kill as many dudes as possible while mantaining the objectives and this and that. Just need a little bit of motivation and maybe the people I play with would get off their asses.
Hey guys what weapon is better, AMR-16 or CAR-4?
CAR-4 is better on select-fire or full auto. AMR-16 is better in semi auto only.
I like how I can take ammo through the bottom of the truck.. well not that I'm complaining because I'm less likely to get shot.
So the AMR won't be as useful until I get the more ammo perk?
Nope, it's not a very big difference. Going from 90 to 113. I mean, that ammo count is pretty much all that's against it It looks really nice with the blast from the past hand guard though
"Fill her up good, guys!"
Gives the term "thermal drill" an entirely new meaning.
So, let's take a poll for what weapon Sydney is gonna come with (aside from the gun because there's too many possibilities there) Rate friendly for a didgeridoo, useful for a boomerang, dumb for a butthurt spammer, and optimistic for a jar of urine.
What truck
this one
Uh... Watchdogs?
In the talk of Car-4 vs AMR-16 discussion. Here are some numbers to see the difference and because why not. I made these without any skill point assigned so the stats are only from weapons mods and perk decks. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VNoWruA.png[/img_thumb] Basically you sacrificing 60 bullets only to have a bigger fire-rate which doesn't help since you have to conserve your ammo. So sticking with the Car-4 is the best option. On the other hand, you can try turning the AMR-16 is a weapon to kill units with high health if you have the right mods: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/UiVU20Q.png[/img_thumb] Now this time you have even less ammo but you can use it to kill with one headshot Tan cops and Shields. Tazers and Cloakers requires only 2. Maybe use to kill a Bulldozer quick if you have a clear shot. If you don't mind the lack of ammo and as long you have a secondary with enough ammo to use it with the rest of the enemies. This option can be a nice combination.
Heist idea: Sperm Bank We go in and donate through the proper channels and make money donating Then we go back geared up and steal our seed so we don't have the biological children in the future Edit: Or maybe a loud version where Vlad donates and hires us to steal his back for him
I made a thing [sp]and fucked up in editing, I am sorry[/sp] Download
How can you fuck up making a 5 second video into a 30 minute one, lol? How did you not even notice that it took you longer than say, at worst, 30 seconds to render it?

How did you not even notice that it took you longer than say, at worst, 30 seconds to render it?
I know, I fucked up, video editing is new to me. I do have a fixed version of the video, it's uploading as I type this, but I didn't want to take down the original video until the new one was up because without it the mod has no showcase, and I prioritize the mod over the video. I am sorry.
Almir tweeted something about "Hypehypehype" and mentioned Coyoteze. Said details are coming later this week. So that's cool.

[editline]1st September 2015[/editline] My guess would be a teaser trailer for both FBI Files + New Crimefest (from last year) enemy.

again sydney comes out "early 2016" so not likely
I was thinking more of a Sydney trailer, but Jiro did just come out.
This is the one time where a back-to-back character DLC would be ok, with the last one being more of a massive joke than the actual serious heister with a deep backstory some people were looking forward to. I'm ok with jokes, but that Yakuza shit was kinda close to being disrespectful with how much work people put into that 3 min long video. So much of that shit and then when you go ingame he's just this yelling dude that makes no sense. Wasted potential again. I dunno how they could possibly fuck up Sidney. It's just an australian chick. Find some australian weapons and kangoroo memes and it's all good
All I want is a heister that talks and sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger... Maybe also other that sounds like Bill Cosby. Well, there is always modding.
Just helped a couple of non-infamous players with stealthing Big Bank and Shadow Raid. They initally wanted to do Big Bank loud (on DW) but I told them it's much easier in stealth, and showed them how to do it, step by step. They were very happy about all the money. There's my good deed for the day. [editline]2nd September 2015[/editline] And that is how playing with noobs often turns out more fun than playing with players with experience who'll kick you for no reason etc.
i respectfully disagree
After having stealthed through the first god knows how many hours of playing, I gave up on it around 5-6. It just stopped being fun and led to a lot of fighting between me and friends over shit. Brute forcing is just a lot easier and more fun.
So if I do run the AMR-16, would this build be good? http://pd2skills.com/#/v3/tRPMHIJfGCa:gRsOLHIJFgCa:::
i respectfully disagree
That, and it's boring as heck. PD2 has some seriously tight shooter mechanics despite the oddities of the shotgun and other little tidbits, but it's great nonetheless. It's why I think PD2's version of stealth is just poorly handled. Doing missions entirely in stealth goes against the amazing gunplay they cooked up. PD:TH's stealth was a time saver that you could perform to get some extra rewards and skip certain objectives, and it worked very well. I'm actually kinda sad that's gone in PD2. Stealth and loud progress is often completely different so getting halfway through stealth and then trying to play things loudly doesn't really do anything on most maps.

Plus on some jobs like the Art Gallery, Election Day, or Bank, it actually can help make a bit of progress before loading up. Still, hate having stealth as a pass/fail element that leaves most players poorly equipped if it goes south. If armor bags were an asset, it might work a bit better imo. Or just a "Plan B" Asset that basically let's you take a secondary loadout.
