I find accuracy more important, it sucks when I'm aiming quite clearly at the head only for the gun to miss after several shots because it's not accurate. Irritating and a waste of ammo. I never really go full auto when I use my guns anyway, only really fire in burst shots or single shots since that's usually enough to take an enemy down so long as you're aiming at their head. The only time I ever really go full on spray is towards a bulldozer or cloaker and generally I don't find much difficulty in that.
Depends on what you're taking. If you're backing up an 18 accuracy AR or a Sniper or something SMGs are fine because for close-mid range (aka most of the game), ~10 accuracy on is enough. I also find 16 accuracy is enough for all but the most extreme ranges (Bomb:Forest Snipers), with average hidden spread mults.
I'm usually able to make do with at least 12 accuracy.

In weapons like Jacket's Piece even with mods the accuracy still around 8 or so. Is not high enough to make that big of a difference.
accuracy is only really important on weapons like Sniper rifles, pistols and assault rifles. Weapons like Smg's and shotguns can do their job even with 0 accuracy.
I usually hipfire with SMG so stability isn't really a problem. I use accurate SMG like the vertex,etc...

People tend to spray with SMGs right?
I had my P90 set up with stability in mind and there was minimal recoil. Then I switched it to do more damage and there was recoil everywhere. Although in close range, it's not too bad.
Also is it just me or the reinfield shotgun has some kind of delay between shots fired?
I Can't actually fire fast like I do with the Loco and the other automatic shotguns.

I always have mostly used Pistols
If an SMG has a high fire rate then its designed to spray.
SMGs like the Patchett are the opposite.

yeah I kinda feel the same. It got old doing the usual heists cause we need something new to spice that up. Not to mention Jiro's pack didn't have anything going except for the Katana and Uzi.
Hopefully the new Gensec enemy will get us out of this repetition hole and we can finally re-awake the thread with lots of posts of people complaining how bullshit the completely Overkill secret was.

-PDTH ports (barring No Mercy)
-Xmas heist called Holly (2 days, you break into a movie director's house and steal his stuff)
-Akimbo shotguns
-Goat Simulator crossover heist (I'm really wondering if this is a joke or not)
-New arrow types
-Steam Inventory integration
-AK Bayonet
-Bipods
-2 day heist where you figure out where a deal between two gangs is taking place, then intercept them at a construction site
-Yacht heist (Probably not even close to completion)
-Driving escape
A bit of a thought I had, we know Overkill loves giving assault rifles those worthless DMR kits. Has anyone ever thought that it might be interesting if the M308 got an assault kit like the G3? Penalize the accuracy and damage a bit and give a massive buff to the total ammo. It probably wouldn't make it a top of the line weapon, but I'd rather it feel like a lower tier SCAR than a much lower tier WA2000.

I always thought that one of the updates to the M308 should be to make it on the same tier as sniper rifles, with an ammunition type to give it ammo piercing and a sniper scope attachment. I already think the M308 was up to snuff as a Battle Rifle, but this way it would give players access to a sniper rifle type without any DLC.

I'd definitely like that, but I just don't see it happening. They've given a lot of base game weapons game changing attachment options, but I don't think they've completely reclassified them like that since before they finished implementing weapon classes.

Oh I agree it's never happening, but if Overkill we're to ever implement the DLC weapon types into the base game, I think that this would be the best case to go about it for sniper rifles.

Updates are rare, but it doesn't really matter. Just force load mods it usually doesn't cause any problems.
