While ARs are clearly overdone, I could see more room for shotguns: 1) A shotgun that is basically a better Striker, but for primary slot (Jackhammer?) 2) A rather powerful shotgun with an ammo problem 3) A shotgun that's accurate on mid-distance 4) A double barrel that fires both barrels at once (Maybe as a mod to Joceline/Mosconi) 5) A sawn-off double barrel for secondary slot 6) Electric ammo And pistols: 1) Another full auto pistol (Kinda hoped that C96 would be that) 2) Very huge damage but low firerate handcannon 3) Something like previous idea, but with stats a bit less overkill (So, lower damage and more firerate)
Pistol 1- Beretta 93r [Real gun is burst auto though] [t]https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2017/1957462307_5ddf6282a2_b.jpg[/t] Pistol 2- Smith & Wesson M500 [t]http://media.liveauctiongroup.net/i/7482/8787649_1.jpg?v=8CC7F04A20B17B0[/t] Pistol 3-Chiappa Rhino [t]http://www.defensereview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Rhino_Revolver_Black_6-inch_Barrel_Chiappa_Firearms_1.jpg[/t] If we got these three pistols I wouldn't need another pistol, never again.
Oh Well crossbows are going to be a bit fun to use, but the rest and an overall theme is meh. Not even sure why do that gimmick stuff when we still don't have a lot of cool guns (SVD, Five-seveN and Pancor Jackhammer pls)
I never found the projectile weapons (aside from the throwables,) to ever be worth using. Ridiculous stats aside I seriously doubt they will be worthwhile over more traditional options. So that just leaves the melee, like with the Jiro pack. And the Katana is already quite great so if you have that you probably don't need any more melee unless these are somehow even more amazing. Now if the shield was a secondary weapon or something and we could drop all pretense and just go full TF2 mode then maybe it would be interesting. Gonna buy Grim Fandango Remastered instead.
I actually really liked Jiro. I just wish they had held off on releasing him until a heist going with him could be released.
I actually really liked Jiro. I'm actually pretty disappointed Overkill seem to have stopped integrating new characters into the game through missions, it was pretty neat how Clover and Dragan joined. Then Bonnie and Sokol just kinda rocked up for no reason and now Jiro has this backstory about trying to find his son but in-game he's just causing mayhem with the crew because ???
Well Sokol was the man behind the BFD.
Well Sokol was the man behind the BFD.
Honestly that strikes me as a really flimsy excuse. Nothing in either Sokol's trailer or the way he acts in-game suggests that he's some technological mastermind who can create a device like that, if it wasn't for the one line in the GGC trailer saying he did it, no-one would believe that.
We need more secondary shotguns.
I'd really like it if we could get a single shot rifle like a Martini-Henry for a primary.
Love teams during Hoxton Breakout pro job on overkill. Taking the server to the van, I'm going and the other two for some reason are trying to kill people way back in the server room. Both got downed. I had the server and I was by myself. I got downed yay hour wasted :)
I'd really like it if we could get a single shot rifle like a Martini-Henry for a primary.
Honestly any 18th century or less firearm could work considering how huge the bullets were.
Honestly any 18th century or less firearm could work considering how huge the bullets were.
There was some talk in the PD2 steam chat yesterday about what ridiculous dlc would be next, and someone threw in WWI. Now WWI would be pretty credible, as there's stuff like the Webley, Springfield 1903 and Trench gun. Then I remembered that to counter german snipers, the British hastily issued special rifles to their field officers, stuff like break-top elephant rifles chambered in anything from .450 to .600 Nitro Express. Fittingly enough, there is even a cartridge called .600 Overkill...
Honestly any 18th century or less firearm could work considering how huge the bullets were.
I'd be a bit concerned about going anywhere prior to cartridges while still having it be a gun just because of the complexity involved in loading percussion cap or flint lock firearms. Firearm systems not built around using breach loading cartridges are radically different from those that are.
gage revolutionary pack includes cannon primary -requires two people to operate to manually load the propellant, cannonball, and wadding -must resupply from ammo bags make it happen Though seriously a crew-operated weapon might be cool for a map gimmick if done right.
Did Big Bank on DW yesterday. I must say I was a bit underwhelmed due to the effectivity of my team and one guy holding cops off for quite some time.

Favour to buy, then carry it like a loot bag. set up like the thermal drill to use. Mafia II had a mission where you had to first acquire an MG42, then you set it up in a position to perform a hit. I could see an M2 or a mortar as something a team has to use in particular heist. Multiple parts like the Beast(weapon, tripod, ammo), assemble it at some point, then one shoots, one reloads/swaps barrels. Maybe some escalating fight against Murkywater.

I want to see some guns that are locked to burst-fire. It'd make a change of pace.
Am I supposed to see some indicator that tells me my mic is on because I don't see any in game.
So I just hit level 100 anyone got any recommendations on what I should do before I hit that infamy button?
I want to see some guns that are locked to burst-fire. It'd make a change of pace.
The H&K VP70 pistol might be an interesting addition, since it goes from semi-auto to burst with the addition of a stock. And add some other burst/auto pistols, like the Beretta above, the Stetchkin, and that Cz model I can't fully remember. For the pistols, additional trigger groups might be an interesting addition in lieu of firing modes. Single or double-action triggers could modify the fire rate and accuracy, maybe throw in a competition/custom fitted as well.
So I just hit level 100 anyone got any recommendations on what I should do before I hit that infamy button?
id suggest solo stealthing any elephant heist or the diamond for the stealth bonus, then just buy some expensive guns and sell em after ya go infamous
To me i still believe Sokol is there as an extra muscle according to his former job as a grinder
Well, being a hockey player was appearently a front for him to go from city to city and make robberies. And possibly he had a hand in designing the Beast as well, seeing how the BFD is pretty much an upgrade on the Beast in every form. He's still too young imho and doesn't really reflect his true backstory ingame.
So I just hit level 100 anyone got any recommendations on what I should do before I hit that infamy button?
respec all your skills to get money, then use all that spendable cash you have, all of it on weapon slots, then fill those weapon slots with THANATOS sniper rifles, or if you dont have that DLC then fill them with either DEAGLES or MOSCONIS, once you filled all your weapon slots with these weapons, go infamy, then sell those weapons, and you got free starter money for infamous.
So I just hit level 100 anyone got any recommendations on what I should do before I hit that infamy button?
1. Buy all the weapon slots you can and fill them all with the most expensive guns you can. Going infamous for the first few levels burns your spending cash so use up as much of it as you can, and if you buy guns you can return them to get a decent amount of cash back. 2. Stealth something to get yourself a bonus waiting. 3. Get a friend ready to host you a stealth Deathwish job, experience is curved so a diamond store on Deathwish will net you 20-30 levels if you go in at level 0. 4. Remember to spend the infamy point before doing anything else, you won't get any infamy bonuses until you spend those points.
So I just hit level 100 anyone got any recommendations on what I should do before I hit that infamy button?
Have a well-modded Commando 553 in your inventory. When you're level 0, that's the best primary available to you.
Lock all of your funds into skill points, sell all of your weapons, never apply Infamy points, and be sure to only do Nightclub loud. Oh, were we trying to give good advice?
Lock all of your funds into skill points, sell all of your weapons, never apply Infamy points, and be sure to only do Nightclub loud. Because the CAR4 and Akimbos is all you will ever need. oh! And don't ever waste points on useless skills like inspire, saw or being able to carry more ammo/medbags. Only spend points on things that help YOU and only you do more damage and have the highest bodycount.
