Kick ass music this way:

EDIT:
It's sadly over now.
Boy do I hate Golden Grin Casino. Any achievement of this whole mission is just a pain in the ass and going loud usually means someone will just desync straight to the power socket and disconnect it. I just hate it.
It's really impractical though, since you move way too fast to actually hit anything. You're better off just sitting in the car.
Plus it makes it easier for the snipers to shoot you.

5-7 minute drill yes
slow down i gotta get some kills lets ignore the
objective for a few minutes please
Lol it's not my problem that players can't aim fast while on a car, neither i do, it's okay, nobody uses that method anyway.
5-7 minute drill yes
Yeah. Even getting additional power just makes it a tiny bit easier.
It's really impractical though, since you move way too fast to actually hit anything. You're better off just sitting in the car.
Not to mention you're infinitely safer when inside the car, you're risking a ton since if you get downed your character just decides to lose cohesion entirely and will just phase out the car (which is pretty dumb imo).
Snipers tho in Meltdown are really important to kill. They can oneshot people sometimes, so it's good to have your shotgun partner shoot at the snipers to at the very least suppress them and trigger their crouching animations or something.
It's a very useful thing imo, and the John Wick I was rolling with didn't get downed once during our 4 trips to get all the loot in OVK.
The only time I found shooting from the car to be somewhat useful between the desync and the aim was when I bought an LMG and muscle. A lot of the enemies shooting at us managed to go panic, making us take slightly less damage.
Still working on my DW build.

Anyone got any suggestions or is it good to go?

What the FUCK
Remember when one of us discovered that pressing space skipped the level up screen and everyone exploded in surprise?
I got bored and pressed random buttons, the space bar was one of them and it seemed to speed things up so I'm like, cool, time to save time.

About as good as it gets. The Loco is a really solid weapon so you may wish to take a sniper rifle for a primary, especially the Lebensauger or the Thanatos. I would also suggest Infiltrator as a generally all-around more solid perk deck over Sociopath but Sociopath is very effective provided you know what you're doing and have the right melee weapons (preferably the katana or another high DPS melee).
what about minigun + bullet storm aced?
place an ammo bag, then sit next to the driver, click crouch, shoot all shit in the road.
[sp]probably a bad idea, who the hell brings a minigun to meltdown anyway? aside from the misleading poster art of hoxton holding one..[/sp]

Alright, I'll take a look at infiltrator. Golden AK is just one of the many different Prims I got and it actually did well enough in the past. Aside from that one I usually switch between Lebensauger, M308 and Stakeout 12G.

It's a very useful thing when you are low level (eg Infamy). Pressing Space will make the bar's progress warp to full and start the next level's progress. Just tap it like 5 to 10 times quickly and you're done in a few seconds.
I had a really 'interesting' thing happen to me while doing alesso looking at some mod Hatley made

I still got no idea what happened
[editline]15th September 2015[/editline]
No i never got out, we had to restart
Happened to me a week ago.
Cops spawned in the elevator so I had to jump a lot for them to hit me. I was hosting so getting downed was my only option.

I guess that they like
Melee'd me past the invisible wall so i ended up on the other side, and after inspection my freaking out made me step into the hole which lead to me being stuck, since unlike some spots like that where you can just fall through the map, that place is walled off at all sides, no escape
I want more driving heists. Being the drivyman is really fun and a long winded escape-from-the-cops heist with one driver and 3 guys shooting out the windows would be really great.
anybody else needs third person view when driving? also with ability to switch back to first person ingame with a custom key binding.
What Overkill needs to do is make it so you can actually see behind you, that'd be nice. Yeah, there's a mod for it but seriously by default you can't even check what's behind you while driving? Especially frustrating when you don't know the map too well so your spatial awareness is fucked (super annoying when I first started playing Meltdown). It's just idiotic.

The problem I have is that you don't auto-center back to facing forward, so if I tap the mouse while driving then I'm off-center and don't steer correctly.
Meltdown got annoying to me because of that car segment.
it's really tedious having to go back and forth carrying out the loot with a bunch of snipers taking shots at you left and right.
The only time I actually enjoyed driving was on the Car Shop Heist. But you already know how horribly cramped and how poorly designed this mission is.
It would be great if Overkill made Car Shop a heist just like the Bank Heists. Where you can beat it without too much of a hassle on higher difficulties and get some quick money every now and then.
Like make the Point Of No Return timer be more forgivable and also nerf down the number of guards.
Because I don't know about you but I never saw 14 security guards on a Car Shop before.
Meltdown is actually not that hard if you know where to go. People usually bring the Forklifts straight to the Longfellow which is a perfect spot to get shot by every sniper on the map as well as getting swarmed by SWAT. If you just get them straight behind the fence gate, you'll get a lot less trouble as most snipers can't shoot you there and the cops usually don't put a foot behind it. Makes life so much more comfortable.

I usually play heavy with an assault riffle so I basically end up being able to shoot all of the snipers and everyone else when I'm outside the building, then take out the snipers and follow the 3 others driving fork lifts to escort them.
Also I thought everyone took down the annoying snipers before proceeding outside.
Yeah, but I made the experience to load up the car here:

(not my screenshot, found it on the internet)
Other than that, people seem to just go straight to any objective and sort of "force" their way through. If that doesn't work out, they either apply a different tactic or ragequit like motherfuckers. Shooting snipers seem to be a stupid task so I usually end up shooting them. And if I don't - boy, you'd be surprised how many guys start to think they can be all terminator in this map. (Which of course doesn't work. Even seen some guy bringin' the Vulcan Minigun and spraying bullets like no tomorrow, while getting repeatedly shot and calling the game shit)
