For some reason I got 2 BBQ pack achievements, yet I don't own the BBQ pack and I didn't hack it in
Uhh... how'd you manage that? When I tried both I couldn't even load into the game after starting a contract, the screen just goes black. Might be because I also have a third HUD running, though... Are you able to disable any of MUI's HUD elements?
Aside from some minor alignment issues with PocoHud's kill counters (which, for the record, can be fixed by adjusting the "gap size" setting in MUI's options menu), both mods worked in tandem.
When setting things up, I installed/enabled MUI first, then enabled PocoHud over-top of it. You might want to try that, along with temporarily disabling that third HUD mod you mentioned, just to rule that out as a possible culprit.
Also, just for posterity, if you aren't already doing so, try running PocoHud3. That's the build/variant/what-have-you I'm currently using, and it installs just like other BLT mods. If I remember correctly, there was an older version of PocoHud that wasn't specially built for BLT, so if you're using that, it might explain the crashes you were experiencing. (I think the older version had a /poco/ folder inside PD2's root install directory, but don't quote me on that.)
Hud mods don't automatically conflict; I've been using HoxHud, PocoHud and PocoMods simultaneously for months. Best of both worlds.
new unit is just your conscience that guilt trips you about all the cops you killed based on your stats, true leak my daddy is almir
So the new enemy is The Sorrow?
You've still got nearly 100 achievements to go
A lot of these achievements aren't really fun though
Especially the Death Wish ones, i still hate them
Wait, that might actually be a viable thing to do
I suppose that's sort of true but at the same time it's possible to be cheated out of your cash and points just because of a bad connection or host. Also in the original Payday you got a bit of money (worked as experience points but you get the idea) instantly upon completing any objectives, you also kept progress and rewards for challenges regardless of how the heist ended, now in PD2 that only applies to achievements that don't require completing the heist.
P:TH was built around fewer, longer, more challenging heists. It took me and my friends multiple times to successfully beat FWB, and all the heists have relatively low success rates. By comparison, Payday 2 is quicker and easier but increases the stakes to an all-or-nothing payout.

Game's definitely easier. Plus, the addition of DLC only serves to cut out the few remaining skill based mechanics, like shield circling, and replace them entirely by just adding new weapons that shoot past the shield or allow you to stun Bulldozers before you go in with an autofire weapon.
I still think you should get a little something, but maybe restrict it to games consisting of one host and 3 other pubs. I mean, if you look at the mission failure and the end of day screens you can tell that they intended for you to get a little bit of something.
Also I love joining pubs and getting kicked for being too low level after infamying. Funny part is that when I don't get kicked I carry the heck out of whatever host looks past the tiny levels.
Perk decks make it viable for low level players. If i didnt have a maxed out Grinder deck i wouldve crashed and burned doing Tabula Rasa
Me and a group of friends did Tabula Rasa like a week before the GGC teaser came out. It was the most fun I had with Payday in a long time, even thought one of my friends didn't get the achievement because his game crashed after we beat day 1, so when we actually did finish day 2 it didn't pop up for him.
I think I've figured out the new enemy completely guys.
Once he was just another civilian... But the Payday gang finally gave his life a purpose.
It all started at the Benevolent Bank. It looked like it was going to be the worst day in his life. Until the clown-masked gangsters attacked... That day the Payday gang almost didn't make it, if it wasn't for him. For the first time in his life, he felt he was doing something that mattered somehow. But it all ended rapidly when he fell off the roof of the bank... and nearly died.
He spent months at the hospital. His body recovered, but his mind was damaged permanently. He could never recall what happened that day. His body covered in bandages, his mind in shambles, he felt more vulnerable than ever, more than anyone else. But one day, as this scared man was walking down a street in downtown DC... He saw a pick-up truck drive by, followed by police cars. Something ticked. He had seen those criminals before. They were the ones responsible for his death... or so he was convinced.
An intense rage burnt in him, a powerful obsession to find those men... and deal with them. Driven by an almost inhuman anger, his body healed quickly. He trained relentlessly, and enlisted in the police force. Bob was a new man. He learned to master a lifetime's worth of gun handling and melee combat. Desperate for a chance to fight back the unstoppable Payday gang, he was fitted with top-of-the-line biomechanical arms, his reflexes boosted beyond nature. He became the absolute elite of the police force. An unstoppable weapon, capable of doing what the entire law enforcement force of Washington DC could not. Defeat the Payday gang.
Bobblehead Bob is no more.
Introducing...
WARHEAD BOB
"This is a message to the Payday gang, and all the crime.net scum that crawl through this city. My name is Bob. I used to be just another civilian... until you killed me. But now I am reborn, and I am going to hunt you all down. Each day, civilian casualties become higher and higher. You kill with no remorse, innocent people whose only mistake was to be in your way to your next loot bag. Harvest and Trustee, The Benevolent, Roberts Bank, Downtown Mall... You leave countless massacres wherever your van goes. But no more. Now every time you'll pull the trigger on an unarmed soul, you will be afraid. Because each time you do that, you may have just summoned me. So you'd better stop killing civilians now, or else...
Warhead Bob is coming for you."
"Listen up, gang. We have a problem. One that won't go away. And this one's not gonna be as easy to dispatch as a skulldozer. I don't know what you did to piss someone off this much, but I know one thing for sure: I told you to stop killing civilians. But that doesn't matter anymore. If you want to keep this guy off your backs, you'd better watch your fire. The more civilians you kill, the higher the chance he'll come. And when he does... Then you have something to worry about.
Don't be so sure about your chances. That idiot won't be strolling through the front door, he's going in sneaky-like. Once he's in, you may hear him taunting every few moments, laughing, cocking his guns, just to get on your nerves. Psychological warfare or something. But don't panic, because that's exactly when he'll strike. Don't try to fight him with melee; he's mastered every martial arts technique in history. If you see that asshole, shoot him. But his robotic enhancements won't make that easy, he'll eat bullets like biscuits. And with those guns he carries, you'd better take cover, because even your ICTV won't hold long under that kind of firepower.
At least I've got one good news for you: if you bring him down, he won't get up again and you won't have to worry about him for the rest of the heist. But once his body is taken back and repaired by the police... Then you might cross paths again. Unless you stop being so trigger-happy with civies. You had it coming. Now you're paying the price for it."

maybe being responsible of a police force holocaust?
Just finished Gold Grin Casino on DW.
It was easier than I thought, although we went loud initially, with C4 entry and only the Van Escape.
I don't know how we did it
but we did it. Achievement 273, together with killing 6 skulldozer with the Golden AK.

I really like how in both gameplay and story the stakes are high in P:TH. One of the appealing things about the heist genre is it's a huge risk for a huge reward, instead of your average job being to ram-raid the FBI HQ on a whim with no consequence. Only Death Wish brings the gameplay risk back but the difficulty balance isn't as good in comparison. Except for Heat Street. Fuck Heat Street.
Dallas never skips leg day.
I don't understand the logic
This is partially me being lazy thought and the fact that there has been no reason whatsoever to play this game lately. I don't want to do Rats or Hotline Miami again again just to score brownie points.
I have no reason to infamy technically since I am already higher than infamy 5 other than bragging rights for being 25.
I really hope that voice line update comes out with the new enemy. There's so many lines being recorded for a bunch of characters which is great, but playing as Houston right now is awful when he's all quiet. PocoRose really helps keeps things moving, but I'd still like some kill confirmed lines for the snipers and such.
Just finished Hoxton Breakout on DW.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THOSE DOZERS
AND THERE A SWARM OF CLOAKERS
AND OVER THERE MORE RPGS FIRING
WHY ARE THE AMMO BAGS EMPTY
WHO THE FUCK SETS EVERYTHING ON FIRE
I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS
Death Wish is a war.
That's why we commit war crimes. :blaze:
Went to Oz Comic Con today, met a Dallas but forgot to ask him for a photo. Met a Jacket like myself so got a couple of pics fucking around. Hoping I might run into some others tomorrow.
Just did Watchdogs PRO on DW. Was quite easy, I'm really surprised. The hardest part is always Day 1.

I dunno about hype, but I'm interested to see what those FBI files are supposed to be, and just how bad they're gonna screw up the new enemy.
Yeah it's pretty much guaranteed with each new update something will be broken, the only question is what.
I really like the idea going around that it could be a hard boiled detective. I'd be made up if there was the slight chance for 'Maximus Hurt' to appear diving around corners spraying bullets at you while shouting corny one liners.
For me, how good the enemy will be depends entirely on how easy it'll be to kill him with the DLC weapons. Hope he isn't another Bulldozer, with it being a decent but short paced challenge that turns into a "oh look it's that guy, better oneshot him again".
I always thought it would be some kind of flamethrower guy for some reason, or something that deal damage over time.

This week in Payday 2, The Fury makes an appearance.

A broken, mangled appearance.
Man, you know its gotten bad when Overkill tweeting out "#Hype" just makes me feel exhausted. I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong, when I say that this update will probably be a mess.
