Survival is always X minutes while in Defense you need a specific team comp to do it fast which is still more than 20 minutes for 20 waves.

I do agree with Judq that it can be a bit slow though.
Personally my gripe with the wave system is the pointless seperation between every single wave. There should only be a definitive end to the waves in integers of 5 (coinciding with the drops) because that's necessary, but having to hunt down the last enemies in the wave to start the next one annoys me because it does nothing but make the mission take longer (Or get exploited by bad players to spend 10 minutes letting the pod heal). The waves between rewards should merge more seemlessly, with maybe an overlap where wave 2 starts when you get down to the last 20-30 enemies in wave 1, for instance.

Also it could be based on how many mobs you have killed. For example 100 enemies Rot A, 200 enemies Rot B etc. Just make it faster and more intense.

Defense needs a lever that opens a trapdoor in the ceiling and drops the whole wave's worth of enemies at once
I still want to test the potential synergy between Equinox's Maim, with Fireball Frenzy + Accelerant applied. In theory it should do pretty ridiculous AoE damage.

If two people bring the same relic can they get 2 of the same reward? I feel like if one person gets a reward, it should be removed from the other potential rewards other players might proc to incentivize people bringing similar relics to get one drop, instead of bringing relics and everyone getting the same trash reward, which punishes them for bringing the same relics.

So I got a Kavat Incubator Segment BP drop (yay) for which you need 10 Kavat Genetic Samples (boo). Apparently you can only get those through scans on Derelict kavats, and only if RNGsus feels really generous? Is that correct? Does anyone know whether you get more than 1 sample per scan? I'm getting silver and golden kavat mods but none of those darn genetic samples.

Can anybody give me a rundown on what's new/changed?[/QUOTE] You can grind void alerts ("tears") which are now really short exterminates inside of missions to get resources that rank up relics (new keys) to massively rebalance the drop chances so that higher tier loot is roughly even with lower tier [editline]ddd[/editline] PSA THO: do not put some traces into a relic thinking you'll be able to put the rest in later, once you refine a relic it's locked into that tier

Been hosting several games, with Relics. Hard to tell whose got which relic on them. DE really should had allowed us to equip a relic like the dragon keys so everyone can see.

Like I'm pretty close to convinced at this point that they intentionally launch shit on friday, fix anything that immediately breaks the game or makes it completely unplayable, and then just go home for the weekend while the rest of the player base finds and reports all the shit for them to fix so that they don't have to waste time doing QA. Because we'll find all the bugs faster than they will during the weekend before they get back on monday to start fixing it.
