That's weird as fuck, i've been using the Simaris one (no upgrades) and i've never had it that bad.
Might be bugged??
At least on my end the chance increase seems to be working. My first 10 Genetic Codes took 278 scans, the next 10 took 276 scans (3.6% drop chance in both cases), and now after the latest hotfix I got 10 Codes in just 72 scans (13.9% drop chance).
All done with the maxed Simaris scanner.

I wasn't going to get a cat, but after reading their abilities I just can't ignore them. I should just blend all my Kubrows and make space for the space kittens.
I like how DE doesn't give a crap about Kubrows anymore or should I say haven't cared in the first place.

I think it might be possible to tell if your getting the tile before hand (for me at least). When I'm running the mission solo, if any mobs spawn you've got the pipe into corpus ship tile. If no mobs spawn you've got the gun tile and can just abort straight away.
Should help cut down the amount of time the three runs take.

Yeah I gave the imprints to a friend, but he's returning me the imprints of his clone after.
You can have them once he trades over his clone imprints - but please take imprints and give them to me after.
I like to save and share the best looking imprints I stumble upon.
