quick question, when you guys talk about components for warframes do you mean the bosses drop the blue prints and thats what "components" are or do you mean the bosses drop stuff like neural sensors, control modules, and orokin cells too?

Components refer to parts (Chassis, Systems, Carapace, Neuroptics, Wings, whatever.)
Resources refer to the latter such as neural sensors, polymer bundles, neurodes, orokin cells etc
MOST bosses drop components, they have a high chance of dropping resources but resources aren't exclusive to bosses.

Yeah. Having to do 20 minutes for an item that is already low chance just didn't feel right.
Right now we spend as much time on each time and it's only change, feels much quicker to get things.
Yeah, overall it's just a better system for actually getting what you want. I still can't believe people are fanatically attacking it and bashing DE for taking steps (albiet baby ones) to reduce the grind and frustration.

Did I tell of the time me and 2 other ppl from the clan did 3 radiant Neo N2 relics and we got 1 or 2 formas and some super common items? I was so furious I didn't even take a picture of the BS.

My camera started going nuts while I was hacking the terminal in Survival :v:

This isn't what I was seeing, I was seeing bars of the terminal and of this random bit of level. When I stopped hacking it just showed me that area of the level, minus the motion blur; didn't fix itself until I opened up the pause menu.

Yup, I was in that group. The new system is markedly better, but RNGesus still will screw ya from time to time.

It would be really cool if bosses could become Corrupted on occasion. Maybe including a small "the warp is overtaking me" intro for flair. SMALL, Vor, I said SMALL INTRO.
Corrupted Stalker could be cool as well, as likely as it is to happen.
Wow, starting over from scratch really gives you a lot of perspective.
Being a new player [I]sucks really badly[/I]. I feel so limited in almost everything I do, but I can't even imagine someone first playing without even any knowledge of the game beforehand. In the first four planets, it's not so bad, but the grind ramps up so hard once you start unlocking more planets, that it makes the game so much more dull. At least I know where the best places are to farm for resources and affinity and whatever, but a new player wouldn't know anything about that stuff, unless they do a shitton of research.

It's a wonder that players even get through the first stage of the game. Hell, I'm starting to wonder how [I]I[/I] did. Even looking at late-game weapons and warframes, it makes it look totally impossible to achieve.
I have no idea how new players are supposed to play the game, especially with stuff like the Second Dream being actually near the end of all content, or MR locked items
What do you need to do to trigger a inc in mastery rank/be able to take the test to go to the next mastery rank?
Does it just...."happen" as you progress through the quests?
Also i finially finished building the boltor and it feels good to have a hard hitting gun again after using the mk starting rifle, i was in the archwing quest mission and it was taking half a clip to put someone down
leveling up weapons grants 100 mastery XP per level, leveling up frames/archwings/sentinels/kubrows/kavats gives 200/level, and completing nodes on the starmap gives a small (variable) amount of XP

Your mastery rank progress bar (it's under your name and rank) will start flashing when you're ready to get to your next rank. You have to "qualify" for your rank by doing a challenge, if you fail, you have to wait 24 hours until you can try it again.
Any XP you gain while you are qualified for the test but not doing it will be added retroactively towards your next rank up after you've finished your challenge.

Just checked on Warframe Market for Ember prime set. Why the fuck is it going for 1k+ plat? Even frost prime only reached around 500p before he was unvaulted (but he's now a bit shy of 1k plat as well).

I think because ember was still really, really unpopular when they were vaulted so when the rework hit and they got a lot better there wasn't as many sets around whereas frost has always been amazing. Not 100% but it seemed to be the case

Theres also the thing where she had a part in the derelict, and since people barely ever played derelict back then there are fewer parts in rotation than there would be of frost and loki.
My Smeeta just gave me 22 Argon Crystals after doing a Neo void fissure on a Void Mobile Defence.
Smeetas are awesome.
