Well I've just spent all morning farming Uranus since I knew that Drakar Manics are the only way to get Final Harbinger, after about an hour I looked up the drop rate... any guesses?

Why would they think a mod that you'd have to do 237 runs to get is sensible?

I suppose they do this to maintain the whole "rarity" of a mod, since they have around 25 thousand players at minimum at any given time. Those drop rates are draconic but with the sheer volume of players it is almost a necessity to maintain a sense of rarity.
And I'm partly glad because it always annoyed me in any other MMO when you'd find "ultra rare legendary" tier gear which everyone and their dog already owns because its so easy to acquire.

I get that they want to keep some things rarer than other, that's why I understand why some void drops are only 5%, but damn 0.141%, shit's insane

the reason it's so low is because mods only have a 3% chance of dropping from enemies. rare mods have a 2% chance to drop from that so combined the actual chance of getting it becomes much lower.

Needed a break from doing this assignment so I went to do a defense with a friend. Made the mistake of letting him host it and it disconnected on wave 18. He has hosted a grand total of two games and I hosted every other one. 2 games have disconnected someone. Guess which those were.
Got the key back at least but I came out of it more annoyed than when I went in and got nothing from the whole ordeal.

iirc:
There used to be close to no limit to the amount of dig sites that could appear at a time and dig sites appeared every X seconds. With a good team, you could have 4 extractors active at a time, maybe even more if you really tried.
They capped the dig sites to 2, so losing one means sitting around doing nothing until the next dig site appears, and getting rewards/cryotic takes much longer. Capping 2 at the same time also doesn't speed up the dig site spawn rate, so you can't consistently do 2 at a time. They also nerfed the starting energy, so if you didn't bring a power cell with you it'll turn off almost instantly.
Is there a good way to find out if a weapon is used to craft something else? Sometimes wiki pages say "is used to craft x", but I've run into a couple where it doesn't, and you have no hope of finding it by searching the weapon because it'll come up with over 1500 results
Only place is the wikia, and that information is usually up to date. If a weapon doesn't say it's used in crafting, then it's most likely correct.

Theres pretty much nothing that I can see wrong with this [I]but[/I] I guess you [I]could[/I] cut the bottom 3 garden(?) tiles and have the Orokin Lab and think the oracle (whatever that room is on the left bottom of the first floor) and attach them to the sides of the second hall you have there. Then you could have the lift attach in the same place as the centre most of the three garden tiles.

You must sacrifice a kubrow on the first sabbath of the month, only then will your application be processed
raise a kubrow as unmodded limbo with all mk1 weapons and a dragon key from egg to potato+10 formas through sorties alone, then ritually flush it from your ship in extended meditation lasting however many days it takes the dog to melt from 100%
if you do this then you are qualified to fill out the application and try out for the second round of testing

Struggle is real when you have more Control Modules than Cryotic.
I wonder which would be quicker? Running high level void missions and selling the rewards or farming 30,000 cryotic. I don't think I have the patience for 300 successful excavations.
So this has been bothering me. Did they decrease the percentage of life support that capsules give you in survival missions? I remember they used to restore 50% each time you popped one now it's like 30%.
