Either way they're not rare and should be uncommon instead of rare.
That's not how the system works? The only thing that separates an uncommon from a rare is its drop chance, and the drop chance for Control Modules is low, it can't just be changed because you get a lot of them because it's not how the resource is categorised. If you did actually want to make it a uncommon resource you'd just get more of them.

yeh well Argon is rare and drops at least 10 times less often than Control Modules.
It's funny how resources work. I see people struggling day and night to get neural sensors while I have like almost a 100 of those.
God damn it, was hoping for latron W.
haha neural sensors and control modules
rememebr morphics? me niether
do the warframes nowadays even use them in the blueprints i just click build and walk away at this point
[editline]8th April 2016[/editline]
hell DO warframes even use morphics in their blueprints
Only place is the wikia, and that information is usually up to date. If a weapon doesn't say it's used in crafting, then it's most likely correct.
It's not like the page explicitly says "this is not used to craft anything else" or not, so it can sometimes be a bit dodgy. I found at least one page and added it, don't remember which one.
There's a special page for that
Thanks, I owe you big time for that one

I have over 30 weapons sitting fully crafted in my foundry so I am once again fully aware that weapons have crafting requirements :v:
ALSO: are either the prisma tetra or machete vandal good? I should probably get them anyways for completeness sake but it'd be nice if they were actually good as well

i dare you guys to check how many of those whatchamacallits resources
the green resource things, y'know to make the clan weapons
they probably exceed the number of days the universe will exist
yeh well Argon is rare and drops at least 10 times less often than Control Modules.
That's because DE can change drop chances within drop tables to make it harder to grind stuff, it doesn't change the fact that control modules are still in the rare drop table. Case in point, orokin cells on draco you should get far more than you do per a round.
Basically, what I'm trying to get at is this:
Since Control Modules have a higher drop chance than say Argon, but its drop chance is low enough to not be in the uncommon drop table, you'd be getting a resource that you have enough of instead of the one you want more often than not. Now, if DE were to increase the drop chance enough that it goes into the uncommon drop table, when you finally find a rare resource, it sure as hell won't be a Control Module. Because then it would no longer in the rare drop table.
They used to be rare, but now they're not.
I understand what you're saying, but control modules are rare resources by definition, simply because they are in the rare resource drop table, the only reason you get tons is because you generally get loads of the resources found in the void.
If you think that argon being harder to get than control modules is anything but a deliberate move, you're kidding yourself, the modules won't be moved so that you can get more argon because DE doesn't want to to get more argon, it would be against their interests.
Basically I'm saying it would be pointless to move the control modules, because you'd just get more of a resource that you don't need much more than 100 anyway, and even if they did they would most likely find another way to keep from from getting more argon tbh.
I found a bug with Warframe Builder and it just breaks the damage numbers on things in the website:

200 less damage for 13% more status chance.
Good tradeoff or no?
Is it too early to sell rhino p and boltor p? my fashionframe addiction has made me bankrupt

You're losing about 13% damage for an extra 13% status for an already 73% status weapon.
No.
if the status was "change enemy into an alert weapon that doesnt SUCK" then i'd use it
[editline]8th April 2016[/editline]
i would say jaw sword would be useful again since charge attacks with it did extra damage (or maybe memoiry is shitting itself) and now it does cool damage but we all know DE wouldn't make that dream true

You can use any unlocked animation set if you wish, like using Banshee's noble animations on Rhino :v:
