Also, adding to this everytime his mic starts acting up we joke and say "gee, sounds like the Navy SEALs have found him again" at which he just replies with a "HHHHHHHRRRRRRPPPPPP".

I've seen a few million on Excalibur blind finishers with the augment mods, covert lethality, some other stuff. Mogamu did a video I think.
Isn't Nova's antimatter drop quite powerful too? I think I've seen pics with almost 1m damage with it.

Before they changed it, some nova on pluto could get their a.m. drop to stand still and would load hundreds of bullets into it. We went pretty far with that strat.

I usually find sortie rescues are one of the more forgiving of the weapon restricted missions, mostly because they're not really missions that need you to get bogged down in fights. Don't stick around to fight anyone who sees you (possibly drop a CC power to keep them off your back), let the hostage out and bumrush to the exit before the wardens realise what's going on.
Sorties are pretty much 90% just CC.
