I'm sure it's been brought up before, but why are you playing the Chinese Version of Warframe?
As said, it's Japanese. I do it because it's good passive practice. In particular I can't think of any other place that would provide a way to memorise planet names without putting in actual effort.
And also because it defaulted to it due to my OS language and I didn't see a reason to change it.

You know, Warframe.Market is convenient and all but a random thought made me realize it's pretty vulnerable to fraud
You can technically create alt accounts to flood the sell listing with fake supplies and crash the market since the site lack any rep system and there's no API from the game itself to check the inventory
Warframe can ban you for creating alt accounts, and you have to use Warframe account because to register, you have to modify your profile description on forums.
it may prevent you from killing them but it's extremely long duration cc and if you're rift waking like you probably should be it just lets you pick off an enemy while casually generating massive energy for yourself
Well uh, yeah. It makes the enemy useless. "Rift walking like you should be" shouldn't validate the use of the ability for just yourself, but for others too.
sure you can banish friends too, but honestly if i wanted practical invulnerability and energy gain and still be able to attack the goddamn enemy without being in or outside of a rift I'd rather have a trinity instead
??? Your 2nd ability puts you in the rift and your third ability makes you stronger in the rift.
Correct, the 2nd ability also makesw you vulnerable to the exact same enemies you CC'd because you probably saw them as dangerous and if you've rift bubbled a shitload of enemies have fun with all of them leaving you swiss cheese, the 3rd is generic and I'd might as well have a rhino roar so it doesn't have to be only in the rift
Energy generation and invulnerability sounds nice at first glance but woop-dee-doo now you're invulnerable and with full energy
where's the tension or payoff, other skills like it used up energy with no regain unless you had the energy aura so you actually had to conserve energy for use when you actually needed it, not for when you feel like you want to walk through a laser field because you don't feel like doing the actual acrobatics to get around it
It may let enemies in but it's invulnerable and gives all teammates inside energy generation AND they can use warframe abilities out of it
As far as I remembered, snowglobe is invulnerable now too, or more or less nigh-invulnerable anyways. Lasts longer, and doesn't decrease in size for some reason. Using abilities to kill enemies inside of the rift is not a great incentive towards using it but snowglobe is the same so I won't really argue that. It's just lackluster.
I mean I totally enjoy the limbo hate bandwagon but he's pretty decent if a bit boring
As much as I insult and undermine Limbo in these threads. I don't hate him. I hate his abilities, and that issues like "teammates being stuck in the rift for however long duration" before they added the option to roll out of it defintiely didn't add any fuel towards liking the damn frame.
His quest is shitty too but I don't really relate that to him.
It's just that with all the teasing and foreplay you need to get through for Limbo, when you both finally get in bed it's all pretty and it gets the party going but if you're only in one position it gets real fuckin' boring and dissappointing.
I just got the damaged Ammo Drum from the one hour survival. I noticed that I got a bunch of rare mods from the mission and decided to transmute them.
I got the regular Ammo Drum.

Sorry for the awful image quality, but we should get something like this, its really cool. Its red as well.
When was Opticor nerfed? It used to be hitscan and did way above 500 base damage.
I'm not sure why nobody's talked about it but in the last stream they showed that the new map system allowed us to place the Dojo node wherever we want, so... who else is up for placing it in the center of the sun?
Does anyone have a Rhino Helmet and Blueprint they're willing to trade? Need it for a friend who I "forgot" to mention to about Rhino being discontinued for now [until next Prime Vault].

A well built blessing trinity is great but it's not true invulnerability, the times between blessing popping up can be awkward due to the needing to self harm accurately and Limbo's invulnerability is instant, absolute, and doesn't require a specific build.

That's just playing really badly, managing what enemies are in the rift and when you're in the rift is basically the entire challenge of limbo and people being terrible at the game has never been an excuse for calling the warframe bad. If there's an enemy you find particularly dangerous you rift walk up, banish them out, then deal with them. Rhino's roar is better, sure, but it doesn't make his 3 awful.

What? The only other skill that really gives true invulnerability regardless of damage incoming AFAIK is valkyr's hysteria and now that it's chanelling you get to lose it the instant energy drain starts happening (or nullifiers, but fuck nullifiers in general regardless of frame). The only frame that can really give you invulnerability for a guaranteed amount of time to be able to revive is Limbo, and that's kind of a big deal.

The only way you can consider snowglobe to be anything resembling "invulnerable" is if you have someone pouring energy into you so that you can spam it constantly to refill the health towards the cap. Even then, it's still not invulnerable it's just got a lot of health. How is using abilities inside the rift not a great incentive? If your strategy involves using damaging abilities from warframes you're not only safe from status effects/explosions which you're NOT in a frost bubble but you get a massive amount of energy.

IMO the biggest problem with limbo is he's a bit boring because you're playing the game of a manipulator and not actually doing any of the big work yourself. IMO his 1st ability should make him riftwalk if not aimed at anyone, his 3rd should be his passive, and he should get 2 new abilities that are actually interesting.
And the servers are down... again. This is becoming a bit too frequent.
Warframe can ban you for creating alt accounts, and you have to use Warframe account because to register, you have to modify your profile description on forums.
Warframe won't ban you for making alt accounts, they'll only ban you for it if you're trading between them or farming for Platmium discounts using the alt accounts.
When was Opticor nerfed? It used to be hitscan and did way above 500 base damage.
AFAIK Opticor was never hitscan, it just has a really fast projectile speed. Pretty sure it's always had 500 base damage as well. I could be mistaken here though.
Aaah, the new thread smell.
Here's hoping the next tac alert/event comes soon.

Are you sure it's a projectile? Ivara's Navigator doesn't effect it in the slightest.
Also, anyone else having issues logging in right now?

Oh thats what that is? I was thinking I'd forgotten my password somehow.

I'm pretty sure it's projectile, just really fast that's practically hit scan, but I'm not so sure. I haven't used the Opticor in the longest time.
Wiki confirms it's near-hitscan projectile.
Why it's that, I dunno. Light's fuckin faster than goddamn bullets but whatever.
the 500 base damage is on half charged shots, 1k damage on full charged
So the raid is planned in 1 hour and 10 minutes:
I put explosive damage on my Opticor :downs:
Punchthrough Opticor is the only way to be.
edit: by the way, is anyone thinking about going to Tennocon? There isn't a lot of information I can find right now so I'm unsure, but seeing as I live only 2 hours away I may end up going
How is the archwing raid even?
just got back to this after not playing for 3 months. should i put a second forma on my mirage?

Firestorm Opticor, though

Second? Pfft, get on my level:

Also don't ask.
Is Ivara worth the grind? I really wanna get her, but it seems almost impossible to get those damn blueprints...
Is Ivara worth the grind? I really wanna get her, but it seems almost impossible to get those damn blueprints...
Ivara is awesome. I can't really say if she's worth it though, as I bought her rather than grinding for her :v:
Is Ivara worth the grind? I really wanna get her, but it seems almost impossible to get those damn blueprints...
She is 100% worth it. Amazing utility, cc, damage output, survivability, she's just fantastic all around.
Set up Invis fields for reviving, put rooms of enemies to sleep for cc and free finishers, set up ziplines for mobility, steal items for more drops, and have a scaling ult that does enough damage to oneshot things all the way into sorties, it's a wonderful frame
This fucking snipetron stock is a myth.
Is Snipetron (V?) the sortie reward?
This fucking snipetron stock is a myth.
It's the receiver and blueprint I tell tales about around the fire. I've been drowning in barrels and goddamn fucking Unairu lenses, and nobody in trade chat is selling what I need.
I'm really starting to like Loki after playing him for a while. He's skills are mostly utility to fuck up with enemies which I have to say I'm not that much of a fan. I like frames with damaging skills like Ember, Frost and Saryn. But I think I open a exception for him.
