DE can't make funny events. They are always grindy as hell and become boring after few runs. From what I've heard this event is shitty for many reasons.

The event is fun until you reach stage 3, then you face level 60+ enemies that one-hit-kill you from across the room with no warning. You [I]must[/I] cheese it with Ash, Tonkor, etc. The Kela fight is obnoxious (Knockdownframe, it's almost like I'm fighting the Corpus in a Sortie) but the icing on the cake is having to grind the instagib arena every time you want to fight her.
The grind is fucking atrocious.
This is the reason why I left Warframe for almost 4 weeks before this update. It's all fun and game until it deducts 50 points when facing Kela.
Fuck the laserdrones.
5,2k health Inaros with 690 armor. Gone in a second.

I thought Vay Hek is one of the worst bosses in Warframe.

I literally saw someone last 30 kills as a non-prime trinity, it's really not hard to survive. Yes they do retarded damage but they can't aim for shit if you're moving quickly. I played Rhino and just walked up and instakilled everything with sancti tigris, only hard part was surviving long enough while checking energy drop points to get a base energy for iron skin (the one EV trin helped).
The Kela fight is fantastic, it forces you to understand the ring mechanic before you get in which is great design and it gives you very clear warnings when the missiles are about to come down, which are not hard to dodge. I got killed by them a single time and it was because I was getting greedy with trying to shoot the targets. I think you might even be able to hide in the little tunnels on the side if you don't want to sprint in circles to not get hit, although it'll make it harder to get onto the stage to deactivate airstrikes.

Play rhino for tanking, not inaros. Inaros has a high base health which he recovers through melee finishers when he takes heavy damage, and there's nothing to melee finisher so his sustain is just gone. I saw some people do well with valkyr too.

Faven does good work, I voted all of those g-unit skins up, But I'm just a fan of the grineer in general. I even sold some of my dota 2 arcana in preparation for the grost and gnova release.

I won't go that far. I still love Warframe and the grind is usually pleasant" as long as you play like you like and don't make a fuss about the "grind" part.
The events are merely a part of my experience and they don't usually make me hate the game. That said DE should step it up and make the events more interesting. If it has to have grinding then at least make the missions varying and don't force people to cheese them with particular loadouts.

Alright I'll pop it up then, just gonna take a second to process the 17.4GB file. I used rhino prime for the fat iron skins, sancti tigris for the big deeps, dex furis to spew at the walls (but then it ran out of ammo and i was sad), and zenurik so I can use all my abilities all I want (I also have the iron shrapnel augment so I can detonate iron skin to refresh it when I feel it's safe)
I was a bit slow because for some reason kela stayed out when the first round of orbital strikes started but was invincible so I was a bit confused at the start and then I ran out of ammo to spam at the targets so I had to wait for sancti tigris reloads to shoot the targets but all in all it was a pretty chill run

Should do I think, just weaker and doesn't come with an augment that lets you recast it when convenient to avoid getting nuked right as it's about to deplete
