They spawn randomly, and the chance of them appearing increases the more missions you complete on Uranus. Whenever they spawn in a mission, you'll hear a very distinct sound, you can't really miss it.

Yes and no. There are simply lots of people who are willing to sell stuff for a cheap price. Warframe market is nice and all, but the userbase is tiny compared to the rest of the Warframe's playerbase.
Stupid question. How do you get an aura mod? Do enough alerts for it to drop or do an alert that says it gives an aura mod als a reward? I've never seen one.

Keep in mind Warframe.Market is global whilst your trade chat is different for every region.
i wonder when we'll be getting new aura mods anyways
since they're up for unique mods for specific weapons like the ripkas maybe they'll start up auras that can use prerequisites too like being within range of a teammate or something
albeit considering warframe a mod like "be within x range of a friend" in any mode expect defense and intercept would be awful to handle.
Hell I can onl think of auras like "Gain X amount of energy when attacking the same enemy a teammate is" etc, but that's probably not that interesting and too generic.
