Why the hell do people hosting things invite more than the first 4 people that message them? Nothing annoys me more than messaging a person hosting something I want to run, see an invite, and then get denied because it's full.

Because sometimes people are so slow to join that you think "oh, he's not coming" and then invite more people. Or it could be that someone just wants a party as fast as possible meaning that he keeps inviting people until he sees a full party.

He's both, it has been clarified quite a few times now. Regeneration and stopping death from druids, armouring up & consecrating ground from paladins.

I always invite more than the first 3 people (in recruit chat) because it's not uncommon for some to take several minutes to join or say they're going for something else instead after you've waited 3 minutes for them to join you as they themselves requested.
The ones most eager to join will get to join, if you take too much time then you just got to wait for the next person who is doing you a favour and sharing their key with you.
I just typically associate Oberon as a paladin exclusively. Particularly because he feels more natural with heavy weapons ala magistar, Scindo, and Galatine.
and I mean, shit, when the hell do paladins never have anything that heal and prevent death too.
The Crusader is probably a star example of a Paladin who goes in with armor, consecrating the earth, and healing up friends/themselves.
that's just my view though
Why would Oberon even need to fit into the corset of a DnD class like "paladin" or "druid"? If his theme is nature and invigoration, isn't that good enough?

I haven't watched [I]too[/I] many dev streams, but I understand his problems with the alcohol on stream. You can really tell how much Rebecca cares about the community, which is really nice to see, so it's a shame to have something like that potentially be a detriment to the days when she can directly interact with the community as a whole. If you noticed she even turned down having a drink while on stream when one was offered to her.

I think its a complete non problem. I'd rather them enjoy the stream and skip 1 question or so than them have no banter. Makes it pretty entertaining to watch.
I think its pretty masterful how Rebecca manages to keep them on track every stream.

Not really, if you read the topic he says that he doesn't have a problem with the drinking. I think the post was pretty on point this time. Drinking alcohol is fine and all, but I don't really see a reason to do so during a stream. Like the guy said it does make them look a bit more unprofessional, but then again makes them look like "ordinary people" as well.
And it's true that the other guys kept interrupting Rebecca quite much actually. I don't mind it that much, but it's annoying if she's in the middle of something and then gets cut off. To be honest Rebecca is the one that SHOULD be allowed to speak her mind as she probably plays the game the most and is also in touch with the community, she is after all the community manager.
Still I love the whole dev team, they are all amazing and the streams are always pleasant to watch. I'm just saying that the thread did have valid points so I'm not jumping in the "white knight" bandwagon.
