Jesus fucking christ I don't understand the late game anymore. I try to use the mod combos and such on the wiki but I still do jack shit for damage and I can't survive for shit either. What's going on? Is it just that high a numbers on the enemies or are my cards just garbadge? What am I supposed to do? I've been trying to do those season things but the current one is absolutely rocking my socks off...
what mastery rank and what warframes do you have?

Do some vault runs if you are interested in getting some corrupted mods, they're pretty easy to get but frustrating when you are looking for specific mods.

Say where exactly you're failing to survive (unless by seasons you mean sorties).
I have most of the old(er) ones, Ash, Banshee, Ember, Excalibur, Loki, Nekros, Nova, Nyx, Oberon, Rhino, Saryn, Trinity, Valkyr, Vauban, Volt and finally Zephyr. I'm mastery rank 10 [editline]17th May 2016[/editline]
(unless by seasons you mean sorties).
I was thinking about those three steps missions with the really high levels (up to a hundred). Is there some form of standard build people go for or is it just free to pick and choose what you want to use? [editline]17th May 2016[/editline] Crist on a bike I actually managed to pull it off! I did spend most of my time chucking useless kunais up their asses though.
This why I don't enjoy the end-game of this game. Is already difficult as fuck as it is and you are limited when it comes to weapons that actually deal significant aumont of damage. I think I stick with Saturn and Jupiter for now since I like to actually have fun and do good with a weapon I like using it.

For defense Limbo would be ideal, Trinity's my favorite (99% bless4life), and other defensive frames can also be considered, though remember that you're defending an operative, not a pod. For actually killing enemies you might need to rely on some gimmicky shit like like Excalibur's radial blind would be really easy to use right off the bat. If you could get Ivara she can put enemies to sleep so they can be executed with covert Lethality. I personally prefer Primed Flow + Quick Thinking (both maxed) as my defensive mods on literally every frame because then I don't have to worry about my health pool whatsoever, so slash/toxin procs don't just kill me by bypassing shields, though if you're trying to tank sortie enemies you're probably doing it wrong, they do absurd damage, the goal should be to kill with minimizing damage to yourself as much as possible. TBH you're missing two of my favorite carry frames, Mirage and Ivara. You should consider trying to pick them up. Also Sorties are supposed to be THE end game. They're literally for players like me who like to minmax the frames and weapons and mods I've dumped tons of forma and cores into, I personally enjoy them because for the most part they're actually a nice challenge. There's some stuff that I hate, like energy reduction and invulnerability phases on the newer assassinate sorties, but it's supposed to be hard, so I just tough it out when I actually feel like doing them.

Seriously though, sorties are not the place to bring your garbage gear that you like because it's flashy, bring a good weapon. Fragor Prime and Akstiletto Prime stats from PS4 release: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/4jrm1b/vauban_prime_patch_is_up_for_ps4_soon_for_pc_i/ I'm quite sad about Akstiletto Prime's critical chance as I already maxed my Primed mods :3 Oh, well... Still looks sweet as heck.

Lawd have mercy, what crazy shit did I put myself through
I wonder if you can ivara invisi-arrow the operative in sortie defense?
Just run Derelict assasination 1-3 Rare Ressource drops a run takes 2minutes /// you can get cells and neurodes there fast as fuck + Decent credits and nekros parts that youre also able to sell.
I wonder if you can ivara invisi-arrow the operative in sortie defense?
Yes you can.

I'm asking because I just love the way that gun works. That and the reload sound is awesome.
I wonder if you can ivara invisi-arrow the operative in sortie defense?
Pretty sure you can? Spamming the sleep arrows with a decent radius is also pretty helpful I found. In all seriousness though I've regularly topped my sortie teams in damage with weapons with no forma in them, just get a synoid simulor or a sancti tigris depending on the mission and pick an appropriate frame for the challenge. 99% of the time when someone just embarrasses themselves in a sortie it's because they brought a bow to an exterminate or squishy frame to an interception. Warframe is a game that gives you a bunch of tools to handle any situation, you can make things work if you're playing on an easy mission but if you're going to do a sortie don't bring a fork to eat some soup
it's suuuuuuuuper average

In other news I hope that Vauban prime doesn't take up the worst possible missions from the stuff that's being retired because I held off on potatoing Vauban so I want to jump on the VP bandwagon quickly
Have you learned NOTHING?
A wise man once said "if you hope for the best, you will always be disappointed", so what's how I try and live
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed.
