It's ridiculous that DE can't make visual effects on them and then make the drain AT LEAST require line of sight. It's great to see your energy down to none thanks to a stealth energy eximus who was camping in a not-so-nearby room.
They need a visual effect to make them easy to recognize from the masses, then they need an indicator for when your energy is actually being drained (like the venomous eximus or something like Trinity's link).
Or a simply solution would be to just delete them from the game entirely.

Yeah, Energy Leeches get reeaally annoying during Eximus Stronghold Sorties. There's no audiovisual feedback for the sapping process, so you've got to constantly keep an eye on your energy bar.
You'd think they'd recycle something like the Shield Osprey beams to show a connection from you to the Energy Leech or something, but nope, gotta make it really annoying to counter them. Or just take five minutes to record a dev slurping from a cup so you know when an Energy Leech is in the vicinity, anything!

Also it's fucking retarded that the Energy drain completely nullies your own energy regen. So if you are running lots of energy siphons and Zenurik it will do nothing against the leechers. They should change it so that it only affects negatively to your energy regen instead of completely shutting energy regen and then applying the leech. That way you could actually slow down the energy leech (or even get it to a very tiny regen) if you have Zenurik etc.
Energy Leech Eximus is just a terrible enemy design.
But we want to add a challenge for veteran players :^)
Taking away a major gameplay mechanic is [I]not[/I] a good gameplay mechanic.
Especially since there's a lot of frames that just die if they don't have energy, like Loki and Ivara.
I play Warframe for a reason and a good portion of that comes from the abilities.
It's funny how I was never really a fan of space-themed games. Except maybe for Star Fox.
But Warframe is one of those games that actually manages to appeal a little bit to every kind of player.
I've been using bows this whole time and I think it's about time to get a rifle. What's a good one for a beginner?

Regular Soma with just elemental mods is decent for anything lower than Tower 4 void missions. Honestly I suggest you just get a Tonkor. Is not actually a rifle but is pretty easy to make it viable for any mission even without crit mods. Then use it with you on missions to get the mods you're missing and prime parts for Soma.

Point Strike, Vital Sense, and Hammer Shot are the only ones you can get right now that are worth it (you probably already have the first two, and for HS you can just run nightmares, wait for nm alerts, or buy it for pretty cheap)
Crit Delay's RoF sacrifice isn't worth the crit chance bonus and Argon Scope/Bladed Rounds are $$$$$$$$$

No, Flow is [I]useless[/I].
I use Primed Flow and Quick Thinking on virtually everything to compliment my Zenurik passive, it's not useless at all.
They're the first two mods I put onto unranked frames when leveling to give them tons of survivability, especially since your energy fills when you level.

I just can't seem to make Baro cosmetics look good on anything at all. Same problem I have with a lot of the boxy Corpus designs, it's too angular to mix with a lot of Warframe's organic designs and round shapes.

You could complete T1C's capture objective and then just run from side to side of map killing enemies and opening every container.
