This major update feels like it's lasting forever
If it's lasting long for you, think how it is for me when I'm 1k away from mr22 :C
Ya we're about to reach six months since the last major update, that's if you ignore 18.5 though. Still, six months since any meaningful story content that wasn't tied to unlocking a frame.
I dunno 18.5 seems like a major update to me, even if it isn't named 19.
It's been 6 months since DE decided to shit on my Glaive weapons and yet hasn't reverted them back. It's been rough 6 months.
but real talk i'd love it if you could actually continue firing shock as a beam like in the Profit trailer even if he did only do it for like 2 seconds long speed of course is fine butid like it to actually do what it supposedly was supposed to do and make it harder for the goddamn enemies to shoot you the electric barrier is more or less just a smaller scale snowglobe that leaves your ass open to getting shot AND it still fucking lets explosions through so why not let it repel projectiles back or just outright zap them out of the air if they enter its vicinity/strike the barrier. I really don't think there's anything we can do for overload. It's really only beneficial on levels with lights and electronics everywhere and against machines/shields and even then its drops pretty badly on higher levels. Unless it gives a longer stun or something I dunno what to do with it that isn't something they could just do by giving it an augment
You can spam the electric barrier, you can customize your shield-forts, unlike ball locked frosts. If you're getting shot in the back place one behind you. Also Overload's primary use right now is to make rooms dark enough to start a rave alongside Mirage with Disco support. Other then that without his damage augment, the only abilities that stand out are of course speed and shield. Also do note that the advantage of his shield compared to frost's globe, is that it provides a 50% damage buff via electric damage, it has no depletable health pool, and it doesn't punish you for going negative power range. Though it's a pain in the ass to use it for long term defense objectives so still bring frost to void/infested defense.
Wonder when we'll get the fairy frame. Hopefully soon.
I just hope we get a lot of patches in the upcoming weeks. I mean the year is already half burned and we have gotten little to nothing so far. They mentioned about separating the U19 into smaller parts which I hope they indeed do. I'm dying for the new starchart, I just want to say goodbye to the shit we have now.
Is there a way to self-proc a heat status? e: that Nekros one seems bonkers in survival and defense. and that Oberon one is really cool. Wonder if it has a cooldown beyond the 20 secs, or if it can insta-recast.
Limbo*: Holster Speed ... is 50% faster while in the Rift

Limbo*: Holster Speed ... is 50% faster while in the Rift
Further down the page they basically say 'Yeah we know it's shit, but it's just there until we get a replacement for his 3'
Further down the page they basically say 'Yeah we know it's shit, but it's just there until we get a replacement for his 3'
I really hope his 3 becomes his passive and it does something interesting instead, because right now literally all of his abilities are boring, if sometimes pretty useful
https://forums.warframe.com/topic/652052-dev-workshop-passives-volt-mag-more/#comment-7291598
So one of the new skills is gonna be like Saryn's Spore + Miasma combo huh? Where you magnetize targets and then use crush for that extra damage. I like the idea. It's good when they make skills synergize with each other like that so you don't get stuck pressing one key and just using the other skills sometimes for the sake of them being there. I hope to god that this new combo mechanic for Mag has a better scalling then Saryn's skills thought. I don't want her to only be useful in T2-T3 void missions. I want to actually feel like I'm being helpful in T4 stuff and end-game nodes.
They said they were thinking about giving Loki infinite wall latch and now it ended up being 10x wall latch duration. I wonder if there was a technical reason for that. It's not like wall latch is difficult to refresh anyway.
Other players in range now get to 'opt-in' to Volt's Speed buff, by activating a pickup that Volt leaves behind on cast. This activation occurs on contact.
This sounds quite a nuisance to be honest. Have there really been enough complaints about Volt giving you Speed when you didn't want to? [editline]26th May 2016[/editline]
Vauban: Other Warframes within 10 meters give you 25% bonus armour.
Really DE, REALLY? Vauban has 50 armor and the full party passive gives you mere 87.5 armor. Not to mention that all 3 party members need to be in that 10 meter radius. It's a bit more effective on Vauban Prime, but it's still stinking shit passive.
Lol Even if it stacked with armor mods and you used all the armor mods, it'd still be trash. (As would the build). I don't mind them making volt's buff a drop because then it's just another reason for me to keep narrow minded on, though if his 4 actually becomes viable, I might actually use his ranged build. It sounds like it'll be superb against corpus (+50% damage against robots for electric, combined with osprey unit spam). Might even go back to using my first decent load out set for nostalgia's sake, though my Lex Prime is going to be a lot more deadly with all the forma I recently dropped on it in the wake of maxing Primed target cracker and pistol gambit.
1204 mastery away from mr22, why the fuck didn't they put in the latron wraith in this season rather than putting the dera up again for the millionth time.
They're both nerfing and buffing peacemaker. I can only imagine that it will entail even more fucking energy usage. I do like that it'll be based on your secondary like valkyr's hysteria though.
I wanto walk like Bayo while using peace maker.
I wanto walk like Bayo while using peace maker.
I posted this once here. The fact that it has 10,000 views should tell you that many people wish that mesa could move during peacemaker.
limbo's ~temporary maybe~ passive further reinforces the fact that DE has no idea what to do with the goddamn warrframe
limbo's ~temporary maybe~ passive further reinforces the fact that DE has no idea what to do with the goddamn warrframe
That is because Limbo was a mistake. Having said that, I need to seal the house so the swarm of billions of blood locusts don't get inside for retribution. Also, seriously, Mesa's ult should have been like Valkyr, Excalibur, Wukong, and Ivara's. Why is it not? Seriously, they can't say, "Well, we don't want players being ranged and mobile with this kind of power." Because both Excalibur and Ivara are. In fact, Ivara doesn't even drain energy unless she actually fires.
yeah, mesa's ult needs to be like ivara's -snip nvm the post isnt offical WHOOPS- https://forums.warframe.com/topic/629315-customization-20-more-creativity-for-your-arsenal/ still a cool idea though

When do they usually update Warframe? An hour from now I think? I am craving that mag booty... and rework.
Why did they make Volt's Speed a pick up to allies, who the fuck approved it. One of the reasons I liked it is because it's an accessible speed buff to allies when they are slowed or want more melee attack speed, but now they have to find the pickup, get it, and only then get the buff? Sounds like a waste of time more than anything to me.

Yeah, it's a bit of a hassle for everyone else but it's friendlier to newbies and those who have an issue navigating.
Do keep it mind it also means you can use the speed buff when you want to instead of it being randomly determined by the volt player, which is a positive for me.
I'm honestly surprised that a game as weird looking as Warframe became so successful. You'd think the average gamer would be turned off by the strange names and techno organic characters, especially for a F2P title, but here we are. Really is kinda interesting when you think about it.

That all depends how annoying it is to pickup the speed buff that is. But yeah might ease the newbies, but could/will also hinder more advanced players.
