I've never been a huge fan of it but I think most people consider it to be quite strong. It has AFAIK the best explosive power and yet has none of the instant self-kill risk of other explosive weapons close to it. I'm surprised it'd get nerfed before synoid simulor and sancti tigris though

If this change goes through then Oberon will be a better healer than Trinity because Renweal still has no range limit plus it now has that augment that revives allies without having to touch them.
Again, why the fuck are they neutering the healing ability of the only fully dedicated healer frame, especially when it's supposed to be her number 4 "ultimate" move?

It's a pretty reasonable nerf. Currently it's a melee weapon with an insanely fast attack rate that when maximized has 5.2x the base damage of the strongest melee weapon in the game for what can be barely any energy cost and it moves at a range up to 40m away. All the nerf is doing is reducing the damage does at range and once it passes through enemies so it's still going to be one of the best abilities in the game post-nerf.
the beams itself are used for clearing medium to close distance crowds, not neccecairly sniping.
Is this the dawn of all Huras Kubrow raids?

And I'll be honest trinity's blessing was OP as fuck, but they should've just capped the damage reduction between 80-95%, wtf is this new formula bullshit?
edit: If the new formula works the way it seems to say it does, then it looks like bless might just automatically give 90% damage reduction minimum?? So the biggest issue would be the range limitations (which don't scale with power range for some reason?).
they should just buff blessing to revive and heal everybody in range, even the enemies, even the ghosts of enemies that are created by nekros, even the players who wasted their time in a 20 min archwing defense chasing after a golden mod that went out of bounds and they got extracted chasing it so they decided to off themselves to save themselves the trouble

Eeh lol what? You are saying that Oberon's slow balls with slow as heck healing and slow as heck casting time are better than instant casting with instant shields + health to 100% with 50m radius? I don't know what game you are playing dude... Let's not forget that it's not the only thing Trinity has in her kit. The 50m radius is still huge and the only place where you would be that far away from your mates is when you are doing a Survival with selfish bastards.
Just because it has [I]only[/I] 50m radius and less damage reduction doesn't make it "omg most useless ability ever".
Also the Oberon augment is shit, I can't believe you mixed that into this as well. In order to use it "most effectively" you need to build NEGATIVE duration which in turn shits on your entire kit. So yeah, please tell me how it's good.

Pretty sure both Penta's and Torid have higher potential, but almost nobody uses them because it's very easy to kill yourself with it

Even secura penta has only slightly higher base damage but less than a third of the crit chance and a lower crit multiplier, so it depends on whether you mean per shot or damage per second.

Hmm, weird, I was comparing them on warframe builder and it totally looked like Secura Penta has more dps and damage per shot :downs:
I prefer the penta because it let's you control when your grenades explode.
