DE has talked again and again about how they're deleting default damage mods because they're a "must use" mod & they'll have it so at rank 30 a weapon will have the damage as if it already had its correct default damage mod inside it - so why on earth would they introduce more of them? Now people who use Primed Pressure Point will have all their melee weapons nerfed when this happens surely due to the difference between Primed & normal.
I'm at 5/9 Riv armour pieces so far, really into them. The Riv Min chestpiece looks like it's going to look really nice on Nekros, looks like a proper ribcage doesn't it?

So on the Devstream, Scott and Steve were facepalming over the Primed Pressure Point and saying that Sheldon was not supposed to release it and had promised he wouldn't.
Either way, when the damage 3.0 comes I hope they reward the players who bought it.

Typically when they remove valuable mods from the game they give out legendary cores.
Damage 3.0 has been needed forever, all flat damage mods make building weapons so boring because [I]every[/I] weapon, bar I think ONE in the entire arsenal wastes at least 25 mod points on flat damage and split shots

The only weapon I can think of that doesn't benefit from Split Chamber is the Miter because its accuracy is hard-coded, no split chamber means 100% but multishot gives it even spread(which means you can replace split chamber with Heavy Caliber with no penalties) but I can't think of a single weapon that doesn't benefit from Serration.

Literally the only weapon I don't have Serration in is Azima, because I use it as a status effect turret
We got a pretty hardcore gift of the lotus this time around. Level 200 infested ain't no joke.

So, is it or is it not a good idea to get Prime Pressure Point now?
I mean they're removing it AND it wasn't supposed to be released with Baro, feels like I better save my barodosh for other stuff.

I'd argue that it'd be best to grab as many as you can.
The precedent is that removing a mod like that replaces it with a legendary core, though I don't know if they just give you one during the removal, or one per mod removed.
Regardless, even if they don't remove them, they might become really valuable if they refuse to release it again.
