Too bad a vital mod for this, Hyperion Thrusters, has 0% of dropping out of the only enemy that drops it, Locust Drone, that spawns only on 2 locations with 1% chance.

Can't wait to farm 5% drop chance parts for new Archwing gear and triple forma it though, better start stocking up on that forma!
New Archwing and weapons look nice- I like them, and hopefully they not only reworked archwing mechanics but stats too.

Problem is it currently still feels pretty stop-and-go every because a) you need to brake to fire a couple rounds via game mechanics alone b) even if you could retain momentum, it would just make aiming over large distance more difficult, and since Archwing isn't build around dogfighting, that's what you'll end up doing unless your melee weapon needs levels. And even then it feels kinda stop-and-go when you move into autotarget range -> hammer E -> move to next target. I almost wish Archwing weapons had close distance lock-on by default, allowing you to focus on difficult maneuvers rather than aiming, tho you could still make the actual combat portion interesting with abilities, limited but powerful non-hitscan ammo that requires you to time your shot when you're perfectly lined up (or something like Titanfall's Smart Pistol that takes time to lock on and requires you to trail your target closely for a few seconds, trading TTK for accuracy if you're better at movement than aiming), maybe some weak points or turret/engine/drone factory modules that can be locked on individually for strategic benefit. If they ever manage to let the player go fast AND shoot without feeling fiddly/clunky, I think that's gonna be the single biggest boost Archwing's gonna get, short of more interesting level design that has you dive in and out of dust clouds or chasing enemies across asteroids.
I mean how cool would it be to start the hunt of an enemy ship in Archwing mode, chasing after it as it enters an incandescent comet trail and the icy labyrinth within, then maybe entering a Corpus underground ice tileset when the enemy ship crashes and the chase continues on foot. That could make for a really cool multi-stage boss fight.[/QUOTE]
They did improved archwing movement system though, there's more flow into it now. I wouldn't mind playing AW from now on at all.

Yeah the six degrees of freedom are nice, but it's still stop-and-go with flying into range -> stopping and shooting until you're out of range -> catching up again. Improving that is what IMO would give Archwing flow.
Tellurium is seriously the devil, so many attempts to get any of the stuff but just constantly coming up empty. Does anyone have any ideas for ways to get this shit that has anywhere remotely near the chances of getting resource from boss drops?

The darksector in uranus is what I use. A nekros and pilfdriod combo should net you some in like 20mins.
I just played Archwing farming for gear'n'shit and I got ample supply to build all the gear and have like 40-50 in reserve.

Did a 20 wave dark sector defence on uranus playing as a nekros with infinite energy desecrate and got 0 :suicide:. Guess I can try survival as well, I just often find survivals pretty frustrating

It only works on sharkwing nodes, which I don't think Uranus defence has. it's gotta be survival or any other node where you go underwater with archwing
If you just want drops and don't feel Like farming you can AFK as ember in invite only and tab in every minute or so while browsing or doing something else to collect energy and life support drops for a while, then just restart when world on fire becomes ineffective.

Maybe, I could've sworn I got tellurium in the non-dark sector defence (and they do have the submersible marker on the node) but who knows maybe I'm just high. Worth a shot anyhow.

Guess that's one way of dealing with it :v:. I do have ember prime pretty solidly built up so I suppose that's a thing
That's how I collected like 650+ omega isotopes during the last fomorian event, though it was at a much lower starting level so I imagine it was much more effective than it'll be on Uranus nodes which will spawn much more resilient enemies from the get go. GL however you choose to collect though. I personally have a bunch from farming for gallium on Uranus.

Just hit mastery rank 20, but unfortunately since I need 28 more weapons to max assuming I max out the remaining warframes I haven't unlocked (ash p, vauban p, atlas) and I don't think there's 28 weapons in the game I don't have, I'm going to have to resort to leveling archwing gear :suicide:

Remember that arsewings count as a full warframe in terms of MR, and you can easily level all arsewing related things in a uranus hot tub party.
