He's saying that they believe the T90 is inherently better than any vanilla model.
I mean, a well placed shot to a Leopard's side or to the Merkava's rear hatch should be able to make short work out of them, but on a front-to-front tank battle the vanilla tanks should be sporting an advantage in nearly every aspect. Of course, this could be remedied with a patch that equalizes vehicle configs, but it requires RHS to stop the russian ego stroking.
And on a different note, did you guys notice that suits/vests from some mods acct real weird? Taki terminators anf all. Guess its because the mods are starting to show their age.

Arma should use War Thunder's armour system. It's not perfect, but still realistic enough and RHS can quit their bitching about vanilla not being realistic.

what's weird is that the "bad guy" mod pack's vests and helmets don't offer any protection at all. They're sometimes worse than wearing nothing and yet we get terminators, it seems more like a sync/damage model problem rather than one inherent in the unit mods.

Yes and No.
Some basic Damage stuff is covered by configs, but the important penetration stuff is handled inside the p3d model, which really can't be edited unless they publish the sources for their models, which I highly doubt.
Someone correct me if I'm talking shit about the p3d penetration part.
I'd really wish my debin tools for A3 would keep the bones and weights preversed, then we could start editing the shit out of RHS assets.

It also relies on the models being made with the correct hitpoint and material setup. Which you edit in the .p3d.
