At least your comrades on the outside can absorb some AT shots with their juicy insides. Also I get spooked when ejecting from stuff like that at speed, you never know when you might just get killed by the actual vehicle because shit happens.

If you ride into an ambush you probably have better chances surviving by ducking off of the vehicle than try to exit frok inside and get perforated by medium machine guns that'll penerated the armor

Speaking of sitting on top of vehicles, my wishlist definitely includes more M113 variants like Vulcans, Mortars, and TOWs. Speaking of which, that list also includes TOW Humvees. Then my convoy mission dream could be reached.
