I'm just glad nobody got friendly-fired.
Some people got friendly overpressured to death.
Some people got friendly overpressured to death.
Okay, I forgot about that, but I mean I didn't personally pull the trigger so I think that makes me okay atleast. I think. This is already a step up compared to last time. I may have at some point told Zez that friendlies are clear of the vehicle, but I had pretty limited vision, so it was actually more like a suggestion to be taken with a slight pinch of salt.
Even though I didn't do too much shooting, killing and RPGing (whoops) that mission. It was hella intense. Great moment was when the leftover infantry banded together and charged the airfield with the leftover armour. I will eventually put together my video of it but it may be next week. Or I might just render out short clips (1-3 minutes each?) and uploaded them. What would people prefer?
I'm just glad nobody got friendly-fired.
I got friendly fired by one of the vehicles [editline]20th October 2015[/editline] And by demonic later
I was shocked at Hammer 1s reckless behavior, training session when.
now thats some tyrannical russian style type bullshit right there #justice4hammer1
I got friendly fired by one of the vehicles [editline]20th October 2015[/editline] And by demonic later
I still blame the RPG.
how the hell do you use MLRS systems in arma properly i want rain havoc on a village but it's no use when all 30 rounds fall in exactly the same fucking spot like grad isn't this accurate at all, and it ruins everything
You stop using the artillery computer and get a range chart of a calculator.
i want the AI to use it, they have a fire mission
Ah well yeah that's a shame, if it's for the RHS BM-21 then there's a script that helps with less accurate fire. [editline]20th October 2015[/editline] http://pastebin.com/1HBPBkci
1. remind yourself of epoch 2. download 3. play 4. amass shitloads of gold but not enough to buy safe or build base 5. die and loose all gold 6. remind yourself why you like to stick to singleplayer

Save the script in your missions folder as grad.sqf. Then place down a grad with the name grad1. You can define the position in several ways, for example place down a marker named "firepos". Then you run it like this from the debug console or in a trigger:
[grad1, markerPos "firePos"] execVM "grad.sqf"
For the same grad firing 8 rounds with a 50 meter spread and 0.7 second delay you do:
[grad1, markerPos "firePos", 8, 50, 0.7] execVM "grad.sqf"
You can play around with these numbers. [editline]20th October 2015[/editline] You can then make multiple BM-21s fire by grouping it to the unit named grad1 and replacing it in the script with group grad1 and you can replace markerPos "firePos" with screenToWorld [0.5,0.5] and it will fire right at the position at the center of your screen.

Being that this is fartparty's op, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it was about chasing dragons.
Oh boy, i can't wait till i blast some fools with my BM-21
How many jet mods feature that 'service menu' thing, and is there any way i can extract them from the bigger mods, so it's ONLY the jets?
These fucking call signs. Spaghetti, pizza, ravioli.
I can't even say them so I'll just make sounds to indicate
Man, we really need a MG3 in arma 3. So many countries use it that there's a huge void if we would want to use them in a mission.

I don't fully understand your question tho. Do you want to remove the Loadout menu, and go with pre-configured jets only?
What equipment does the Sapper have for the OP? [editline]21st October 2015[/editline] I mean specifically and not "explosives and a defuse kit"
How many jet mods feature that 'service menu' thing, and is there any way i can extract them from the bigger mods, so it's ONLY the jets?
There's no real way to extract the planes from the files (unless you're up for debinarising stuff), except if they're part of their own individual pbo, buuut you could grab the model file and make your own custom config, but then you'd need to learn how CONFIGS and ADDON BUILDER and BINARISATION works and all that fun stuff [editline]21st October 2015[/editline] It's not hard if you're persistent though
The card ramez sent me should hopefully be here before sunday so I can play for longer than 20 minutes before crashing.
