If we get some more huey rocket action and attacks for the Shotgun man I am all in.

This mission gave me PTSD.
Vote for @fp_viet: http://strawpoll.me/5958173
Would be nice if you could actually get some Vietcong-looking enemies though. Naked CSAT guys with straw hats feels a bit... cheap?
Probably all what just happened there.

They were supposed to look like this: [t]http://vgy.me/hkLekg.png[/t][t]http://vgy.me/Y9iBx3.png[/t]
Oh look it's Ariel and Rocka's faces!
Probably all what just happened there.
During that whole ordeal I was so confused. Mostly because I could not hear the shotgunner at all, so I assumed the worst and thought this gas is poisonous. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/stvlsv.webm[/vid]

I hope people aren't too angry at the whole friendly fire, it's an honest mistake.
So in closing, I hope everyone enjoyed that, I know I did. I've been wanting to make a Vietnam op for quite some time and I spent a lot of time just thinking about making the mission and had a few concepts where in the end I had to do something drastically different because it didn't play too well. A symptom of this is the whole thing with the backpacks that caused everyone not to have weapons at first, it was meant to be a patrol op originally, where you would gather your gear and head out for the day. A shame the ammo boxes were bugged as well, I figured out why and it of course feels stupid. I wanted to make this an OP that really captured some of the idea of 'Nam, the whole, ambushes in forests, booby traps and iconic choppers. I feel I at least managed to somewhat. I hope people weren't too annoyed by the jammy M16s, might seem quite an odd choice but I really kind of wanted the tension of a fire fight you're not prepared for and even if it's just one guy, you still feel really on edge, since your rifle jams right as you place your sights on him. I won't make it too regular a thing since it is more of a gimmick. In regards to the medical system, I'll just say that the revive timer was not meant to be 120 seconds, I didn't set it at all, thinking it would just default to forever. This is not the case, I can thank Cuel for figuring out how to change it. He changed it to 999. As far as the medics go, it goes together with the whole idea of trying to get some tension going, having to pull back so that you could call in a medic by chopper was the idea. I know most people don't like the idea of not being qualified enough to jab someone with a syringe, but it's really what I could do without having to switch to advanced medical, and I felt that would just be overkill. In closing, I'd have to say I was very surprised about this op, few things went like I expected it to, in both good and bad ways, then only thing that really went as expected was that it turned out to be very chaotic. A big wall of text, but I thought I'd just like to leave some words on something that I was working pretty hard on. I hope it shows.
it was a gr8 op apart from the eternal scars on my soul and vocal cords also never trusting a helicopter again
it was a gr8 op apart from the eternal scars on my soul and vocal cords also never trusting a helicopter again
Amount of panicked screaming is directly proportional to medical knowledge.
