Those are basically the last exams before my bachelor thesis, so it is kind of a big deal for me.

All of these things very yes. Please tell me someone's making an Arma3 Stalker mission or something for these to go with. Because if there isn't, there needs to be. Like with DayZ but with less AyyyyLMO and more "bratva, uchay".

I'm planning a STALKER event with the boys at FP-AIR, but it'll be relatively barebones.
It'll at least have a barkeep who hands out quests to individuals, like go raid this bandit camp, find stuff, assassinate bandit leader, defend a checkpoint/village, etc. Sometimes the quests might conflict, like two groups would be sent out to collect the same item, or one would defend a point and another would attack it. Rewards would vary from medical supplies, ammo, money or clues/hints for caches. I'd be handing the quests out to just whoever who wants one, so it'd be up to them to form groups & share the loot and shit. There'd only be a few quests going on at a time, so you'll definitely want to find a group.
All the weapons you loot/find from caches are in "worn" condition, like the mismatched AK I posted before, and have hella shit accuracy (8/10 shots miss at 250m on a man size target) and fucked trigger groups (ie semi only), but if you leave your weapon with the barkeep for a few in-game hours, he can also upgrade & paint your weapons for moolah.
I'm working out a really basic currency system as well for it. The currency is physically carried on your person in the form of money bills. If you die, you lose everything you're carrying and spawn back at the start with just basic kit (suit & makarov) so it'd be a good idea to buy a backpack, store all your valuable shit in it and try to hide it somewhere.
Might be cool if there was someone to run a bandit camp as well, just to run interference for the loners out doing quests.
It'll probably pan out a lot less awesome than I'm making it sound but it should still be hella fun. You guys are obviously more than welcome to join in too, it'll probably be like a month or two away at this point though.
