I am now educated. Also my video of the OP should be hopefully uploaded by the weekend. Work has been slowing me down.

if the rhodesian uniform isn't the civilian khaki shorts with a brush bdu then it's not worth using
if the rhodesian uniform isn't the civilian khaki shorts with a brush bdu then it's not worth using
Well, it's an indep uniform reskin until I can find the will to unfuck my object builder, until then they'll be passed off as future Rhodies
If I could get it to work too I'd just have every uniform top tucked in to those khaki pants. they just make everything hilarious
You can reskin the civie outfits and you'll have your khaki shorts.
Khaki shorts but the model has flip flops so no
They're tactical flops.
Looks like 1.48 just hit
I've got Rhodesian Camo done too, but in that Greenfor combat shirt & pants Just haven't released it :v:
http://dev.arma3.com/post/spotrep-00045 Some really good shit in there.
and more to come in 1.50 ;)
and more to come in 1.50 ;)
Sounds nice. I was wondering about this: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=18947 This is fixed in Dev branch a while ago, but doesen't seem to be in the 1.48 Release. Is this going to be in the 1.50 release?

Is that less explody vehicles patch coming with 1.5?
I've got Rhodesian Camo done too, but in that Greenfor combat shirt & pants Just haven't released it :v:
I also have Rhodesian camo on the same uniform :v:
>FP ARMA has tank(s) in a mission.
Now I just feel bad that those guys trying to stop the tank got burned to ashes from these idiots. RIP those dudes.
Ah man, I'm just loving Firewill's F-16C. Feels alot like I expect from a real one. Went ahead and shot down 6 Su-27s before one threw a missile straight into my face at 1000+ ft. above. I think I know what map we could use for aircraft-only TvT now: That Australia map made some time ago. That is, if you're willing to get a chunk of fps drained while taking off. Other than that, it's smooth sailing from there on out.
Added: Chaff to the countermeasure particle effect
Interesting
My video is up now: This makes me think I shouldn't be leading anymore. I seem to be quite terrible at it!
This makes me think I shouldn't be leading anymore. I seem to be quite terrible at it!
I Didn't have anything to complain about your leadership. And even if I'd consider your leader ship bad (Which I don't), I've seen far worse leaders in Real life, which has a far greater impact than leading people in a videogame. While it may seem intimidating to lead a squad, It's not really that hard. We are not some harcore milsim group where you have to learn a 100 page Leadership manual for acceptable leadership. I'd say the most important part is to give simple orders. By simple orders I mean really fucking simple orders. Simple and basic orders are not a sign of bad leadership, and Giving your squad complex orders doesen't mean you are a good leader. Simple commands are easy to give, and easy to understand by your squad. Don't make it more complicated than you really have to. Never forget, your squadmembers are also capable of making decisions on their own, Micromanaging your squad if not really important here. At the end of the day, this is just a videogame. Nobody will hate you if you did give the wrong order. Don't just give up because of some small hickups and accidents. We all make those. Just keep at it and you'll get better in time. And remember, you'll never stop making mistakes, you just make them less often.
Worst squad leaders are those who just spout orders and don't actually talk to the squad. I hate the impersonal fuckers in arma who think we're just AI team mates to be bossed around at their every whim. Might get their "wish i was in the military" boners up but ruins it for the rest of us.
I only said that because I feel any time there is an intense situation within an OP (See the video where most of Bravo got fucked by an MG as a good example) I seem to seize up in the sense where I don't give any orders, forget to update others on Long Range radio and generally have "Oh hell what do I do?" thought going through my head. It sounds silly but I don't want to potentially ruin the fun for a squad of players by leading them into a situation that gets them all killed before I forgot to say something or communicate effectively. It's not fun to watch through spectator until respawn as it could take a good hour or more for that to happen. Though I know it's bound to happen and hey, it happens I guess. But eh I think I'm thinking too much into it, just something I think about sometimes when it comes to leading.
This happens to everyone. This is a thing that will never fully go away, but you can minimize the chance of this happening trough practice. Just keep leading and it will get better.
It sounds silly but I don't want to potentially ruin the fun for a squad of players by leading them into a situation that gets them all killed before I forgot to say something or communicate effectively.
Shit happens. Arma is a very unpredictable game. Nobody, not even the Mission maker can predict what will happen, and at the end of an OP you can always say "If I had done X, we would have survived." but you'll never know.
I really want to start playing with you guys but I've never played Arma online besides the original Flashpoint years back. What mods would I need to join?
Are we doing anything this sunday?
I really want to start playing with you guys but I've never played Arma online besides the original Flashpoint years back. What mods would I need to join?
Install Arma3Sync first. Arma3Sync is a program that allows you to manage your mods and download all the mods automatically to play with us (And Update them aswell) http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22199 After that, follow the instructions of this image below. http://odin.prfn.se/fparma/instructions.png When we have an operation announced, you can reserve a slot here, and then just pop into teamspeak when it happens.
