When you guys flew over with the chinook we got bitched at for not marking our LZ, despite sitting next to a huge red smokestack on our side of the bridge.
When you guys explicitly stated after that we would be finally getting a supply crate for alpha squad, we heard nothing, and a few minutes later you guys were toying around in an apache, trying to kill the hind.
In the end, half of us got killed, trying to look for supplies after that. The rest of us managed to survive and waited under the bridge until the mission did end.
I was the bravest coward you'd ever seen as Bravo Lead.
I also found out I am terrible at ranging my GL and I kept referring to my squad as Alpha for some reason.
Also I'm gonna upload this video in 15-20 minute parts because fuck rendering out this 2 hour plus video.
I'll stop making missions for now, they always seem to go horribly wrong in some way
Anybody here have experience with the ALiVE modification that might be able to help me with some issues that are coming up with civilians for me?

The Desync part was not caused by the mission. Seems like quite a few people have posted about framerate drops and sync issues in MP since the update hit.
I'll try to do something for this week/next week.
My Template seems to be mostly ready for testing, so I'd just need a good setting for the mission.
I'm open for suggestions.
I'm kinda trying to keep things as simple as possible and stick to Vanilla / ACE features wherever possible.
I was also thinking about falling back to Vanilla vehicles, since RHS Vehicles seems to have some major problems recently.
The most important thing to remember is that the length of the mission depends on the size of the AO and how fast people can move through it. Think about how long it'll take for players to clear areas and if it's long enough for it, expect people to take breaks.

I'm trying to aim for a ~1 hour mark. I'd rather have a mission that is slightly too short, because you can always make it longer on-the-fly with Zeus.

I liked the mission, it's the most fun I've had in a while. The desync didn't bother me that much tbh since I was having fun. It also made enemy attacks hilarious as it would desync as we see it about to fuck us.
Also Bravo squad best squad. I didn't realise that it would go that well considering I had this mentality when I (unwillingly) volunteered as squad leader:

Don't get me wrong, the mission was hella fun, and the Desync werent an issue, until the last one, which essentially went on for an eternity.
Alpha was in quite a unique position. We were fine until mid-game, where we were running short on Equipment (Ironically, this time I had more than enough med supplies :ok:)
The Equipment shortage wasn't too much of an issue at first because we didn't have too many vehicles attacking on our side. We had 1 BTR on our side, which I took out because luckily I looted an AT4 at the beginning of the mission.
After that, some of us, started to scavenge for equipment, ammo and most importantly, RPG's.
I can't really directly blame Titan 1/2, because the first 2 supply drops weren't their fault, nor can I blame mallow for making a non-perfect script.
But I still was kinda salty seeing Bravo getting supply crates, while we were basically playing DayZ on our side of the bridge, trying to survive at all cost.
Hell, we even started a small collection of russian vehicles. :v:
The 3 BTR's that plowed trough our lines was the killing blow for us.
Despite that, the mission was really fun. I never thought we'd basically have to abandon our posts to hunt for enemies for the sole purpose of getting their ammo and weapons.
It was really unique.
Also Medic had most kills on our squad and took down a BTR aswell :v:

I'm going to go ahead and just ask it anyway.
I'm trying to make an asymmetric mission with ALiVE.
When playing on any map through A3MP or AiA, such as takistan, civilians that are flagged as rogue or suicide bombers are never equipped with weapons or bombs, and do not show hostility towards the player.
The thing is that it works when on stratis and altis. I have searched around and didn't find anybody complaining about the same issues, although Im not sure if other people have tried it.

Looks like they are using the RHS AT4.
RHS Launchers are practically useless against vanilla armor.
Hit a CSAT Tank with a Javelin, and it barely tickles the Tank's armor.

The launcher thing was done intentional tho. Something about their custom damage system.

I still dont understand the decision about that Weird damage system of theirs.
I don't feel a single difference between engaging Vanilla Tanks with Vanilla Launchers and Engaging RHS Tanks with RHS launchers.
Oh god why I am recording the "I never asked to be squad leader" lines just so they fit into this video...the things I do...
