Good thing we have BattleEye disabled. People are slowly realizing the implications of the new system. Not only will it block DLL mods whe starting, but refuse to launch/crash if the following programs are running or interacting with the arma3.exe (In some cases, a specific version of these dll's is whitelisted) Windows 64 (looks like some Windows 64 Dll's can trigger Battleeye) AMD GPU Drivers (Aparently certain versions of AMD dx10 dll's trigger BE) Dxtory (Only the newest one is allowed currently) Fraps Bandicam ts3overlay SweetFX ReShade And anything that tries to access the arma3.exe process in any possible way. I'm impressed to be honest.
Oh my God lol good thing I only play on our server with it disabled So why did they do it again is it to stop hackers? Doesn't the game have VAC now
Oh my God lol good thing I only play on our server with it disabled So why did they do it again is it to stop hackers? Doesn't the game have VAC now
It's pretty much an Anti-Cheat / Anti-tampering feature. Altough it's very effective, it's also very intrusive, perhaps the most intrusive anticheat I've seen in quite a while. There's a reason why VAC, Punkbuster, etc... Don't do this kind of thing. Disclaimer here, I am not an expert in the inner workings of Anticheat systems and if I'm spewing nonsense here, then please correct me. One measure to detect hacks and malicious actions is for the Anticheat system for changes within the processes allocated memory. They specifically check for changes within "protected areas". Protected ares mean for example, where your current healthpoints or ammocount is stored and check if those are being tampered with from outside. Now, tampering with the game process itself does not automatically mean it's malicious. Game overlays, recording software, etc... all rely on the same technique, which is why you don't block DLL Injection in general.

I installed Breaking Pointed via the Steam Workshop. Followed this guide http://www.thezombieinfection.com/topic/24539-new-how-to-install-breaking-point-from-steam-workshop/ But I got this instead... I opened it as admin already.
