Most of the sounds are really shit. They're only better by not being too loud, but all they really needed to do was lower the already existing sounds. Instead it's like someone found some sound pack and went "What this really needs, is a BASS BOOST." The sounds are all so flat now. And the G36? That's just terrible, that weird thump that comes after shooting, that overlays itself on top several times when shooting full auto.

As of right now it's currently 3.5mb in size and Has 2 versions. Manned and Remote controlled. Me, Tinter and Mallow have strong interests in seeing this in the FP Modpack (Hint Hint).

Playing through CWR2 (Flashpoint/ArmA:CWA's campaign in A2 - If you haven't already, go play it) again, and I got Strange meeting after Montignac must fall (Which, up till the last time I played CWR, I didn't know existed). Basically cleared Morton with most of the squad staying intact, then the SL is scripted to say "Armstrong, give me some covering fire, I'm going to try and cross the road". The entire squad gets within 300m of the new extraction zone and drops dead. It's a shame they had to basically force all your squadmates to die to shoehorn you into the rest of the campaign's storyline; I mean it's ArmA/OFP, its nature generally dictates you can't account of all possibilities and what just happened is particularly unlikely, but it'd be nice if there was an alternate ending to the mission that had the Ruskies that ambush you cut your squad down before taking you captive or something along those lines. Anyway, why have there been no quality ports of Flashpoint's terrains to ArmA 3 yet? I know W0lle (CWR team lead) like has a grudge against steam or arma 3 or some shit and doesn't allow people to port any CWR assets to A3. The existing A3 Everon terrain is kinda all wrong; There's no microterrain in the forests (Which are also extremely lacking in vegetation), the layout and buildings in the towns are all wrong etc. It's a shame really, because Everon's my favourite island out of the entire franchise. What's to stop people ripping the buildings and terrain data directly from OFP and touching them up to A3 standards?
