So for the past 2 days, I've been working on my own small implementation of a simple logistic System that is similiar to BTC and R3F Logistics, but Works as an addon instead of a mission script, so it can be used in every scenario, and even the Campaign.

The real pain in the ass was the Lifting system.
I'm not really a fan of the BI Slingloading, since it is only compatible with a handful of vehicles.
And I'm also not really a fan of how BTC Logistics and R3F Logistics handle lifting, which is basically attaching the Vehicle / Object to the helicopter, which looks silly.
So I fiddled around with things a bit and tried to do a lifting system that uses both Ropes and real PhysX and can carry any vehicle or object in the game (Whitelist is defined in the config).
I got a working prototype, but it's still pretty much rough around the edges and pretty hacky (Thanks BI for also disabling Simulation when you make an object invinsible, really fucks me up good).

How it works is that I'm spawning an ammobox (I can also use something smaller, but once that hits the ground, it starts to roll over with makes it look absolutely terrible),
Spawn 4 ropes and attach them to the 4 sides of the box and the Helicopter (Larger offset, so it has more stability),
And then attach the object I want to lift onto the Ammobox.
I wish I could make the cargo box invinsible while still preserving PhysX. Currently looking into modelling a wire frame to make it not look as bad.

My group's currently testing it. For those who didn't play with the first iteration of the mod, it makes the AI incredibly angry and incredibly smart. They do a good job of turning Arma 3 into PTSD Simulator. It allows the AI to put down suppressing fire and conduct flanking manoeuvres with other sections/squads.
There was a mission I put together for my group where we were testing it alongside headless client, and we came across a patrol in a forest about 20 metres away from us. They didn't see us, and we put in an ambush on them. We put down a heck of a lot of fire on them. They, in turn, fired even more aggressively than us, managed to counter our ambush and killed all but two of us. This was 8 of them against 7 of us. So it does a good job of putting the AI on par with players.
We were also playing an ALiVE counter-insurgency campaign with it running for the better part of 5 months, and one instance we dropped into a bowl of a reentrant of a mountain range on Reshmaan in a Venom. The ALiVE OpCom had sent some militia to attack us. Of course, once they stopped profiling and spawned in, they managed to surround us on the highground. We were completely encircled. Basically had to call off our recce mission on account of the fact that a platoon had rocked up on our position and Vcom kicked in, making them flank and surround us.
The mod really overhauls the experience of Arma. I can't praise it highly enough.

Couldn't you use a texture with a completely 0% alpha layer for the object?
Need to find an object that uses _ca textures by default though, I believe.
