Got annoyed enough with the AI being stuck in Combat mode for far too long now.
Shits really frustrating if the AI Group you ordered to move somewhere gets attacked and even after they kill the enemies, they are still in combat modes for a large amount of time, and won't move away from their position for a long time.
FFS you can't even change their stance back to aware or even relaxed. It automatically sets it back to Combat, until the AI decides it wants to move again.
So I wrote a small function for kaukmod that fucks over the FSM's of the AI, and force it into a careless stance. Seemed to work fairly well. Now I can atleast unfuck the AI after they are done killing the enemies.
I Still don't understand why that's a thing tho. It basically makes the Stance setting in the zeus interface useless.

Just don't go full shitlord or Apocalypse Now tier. Making a mistake in a higher rank is okay if you accept that you made an error, but if you're in a high pressure environment and are about to do something that could harm your teammates(artillery gunning for example), it's better to say "I don't know what I'm doing" and cause a delay than not say it and eradicate a friendly squad.

You really should try out FPArmA sometime, when I first came here I was a little bit intimidated that I might not fit in because I was bad at ArmA, I fit in and have made tons of friends since I joined, everyone here is very kind so long as you're not an asshole.

Keep in mind, while VCOMAI is really good and adds a lot more logic to the AI, it's also a lot more taxing on the Performance side compared to ASR AI.
