I miss ACE 2's artillery system with the M101 howitzer, where you pretty much had to have one competent forward observer, an artillery gunner, commander & loader in order to achieve sub minute adjust fires I miss scribbling notes down as the observer reads out his info, entering them into the humvee's computer, then reading the gun deflection to the gunner and munition charge to the loader, then reading the ETA to splash to the observer [t]http://puu.sh/jHGwe/62fd235d83.jpg[/t] then frantically doing it all over again to walk the artillery onto the target after the adjust fire misses by 50 meters shit was autistic as fuck but satisfying
we had a relatively good track record with the ace artillery despite the fact it was always danger close
we had a relatively good track record with the ace artillery despite the fact it was always danger close
Everything was ALWAYS danger close with us back in the day The good old days.
what mission is the second picture from? I recognise the HUD
WholelottaAltis, I normally stay away from premade missions but its actually pretty good.
i dont understand this Why take so much time and effort editing configs and changing sounds for weapons that are fine already. Don't fix what ain't broke.
The recoil, sounds and animations could use improvements. And they have been improved.
I was thinking of joining until I realised the game you're playing on saturday is at 5AM my time and that you apparently usually play at that time. yeno
bohemia is compensating for something
It's something to be the most heavily-armed game development studio in the world
It's something to be the most heavily-armed game development studio in the world
They need it to fend off the angry Greek officials. It's also what Arma 3's budget was devoted to.
Hahaha, BI could probably buy Lemnos because Greece is so broken
no aussies allowed
Hey, I play m8. But I'll also concede I'm approximately useless at 3am. Speaking of autism
do you use public keys or sign your own files? id play but i have ~20GB from another repo and i dont want to have 2 sets of mods if one of them is using custom keys
Usually use the files that come with the mod, but in a few cases we've had problems with them and had to use our own key.
Usually use the files that come with the mod, but in a few cases we've had problems with them and had to use our own key.
Also we have our own custom stuff
cba, ace, rhs, tfar should use their own signatures in @fp0 an @fp_maps there's custom signatures [editline]20th August 2015[/editline] not sure about aiatp

hardly its 5 snipers, 2 mgs, 2 scopes, 2 designators and ghille suits theres nothing the dlc adds you cant get with mods
Plus dlc hardly counts as "base game"
hardly its 5 snipers, 2 mgs, 2 scopes, 2 designators and ghille suits theres nothing the dlc adds you cant get with mods
5 snipers? How many are even in the base game? There's like no weapons in the base game. You also can't ride in go karts, I don't know if that counts though because they're...go karts.
5 snipers? How many are even in the base game? There's like no weapons in the base game. You also can't ride in go karts, I don't know if that counts though because they're...go karts.
There are four marksman weapons in the base game, and they're probably the most used types, DMR rifles (the VS-121 and the EBR), an anti-material rifle (the GM6) and the cheytac (which is more an antipersonnel weapon). They fit all the sniping niches quite nicely. [editline]20th August 2015[/editline] Plus the two machineguns are medium machineguns, only really used at a platoon level
Even then, most people don't care for vanilla content, because they dislike the future setting.
I wouldn't mind it, but in Wasteland I actually get less loot because there's a chance of things I can't use spawning.
Even then, most people don't care for vanilla content, because they dislike the future setting.
that doesn't excuse the fact there's a pathetic amount of content in the base game.
The MXM counts too because it's designed as a squad level marksman weapon for NATO.
I wouldn't mind it, but in Wasteland I actually get less loot because there's a chance of things I can't use spawning.
You should still be able to use them in the case of guns, although it will clutter your ui with notifications that you're using a dlc weapon.
