Being able to optionally pay for extra content without intruding in the experience too much if you don't is swell and all. The way that you can still use the content if the mission requires you to, and you can still connect to servers that use the DLCs is great, there's absolutely no issue with that. The issue is when you're paying $15 for what's essentially a small collection of guns and clothes that aren't very unique or interesting, or should've really been included in the base game (DLC Ghillies, really?). Especially when considering $15 would've got you an entirely new faction complete with uniforms, vehicles, guns, brand new campaign, and new maps in Arma 2.

Thus, 15$ in A2's scope isn't the same as 15$ in A3's scope and age, as well as the fact that the DLC most likely also helped fund other things (those [I]"free"[/I] features you guys just got). (just imagine the backlash against BI if they released DLC or something with features only available to those using the expansion)

Taking into account what some other games are offering for similarly priced DLC's, A3's are still very pitiful. (Payday 2 excluded) Plus with most [I]other[/I] developers, the higher standard of quality has resulted in a much more streamlined and more developed workflow, which is supposed to also help with delivering the higher quality, more refined content at a more reasonable cost in development time. I think it's great that we got free features and updates and stuff though, but it seems a bit far-fetched to think that because we get a few features which what are essentially refined versions of what mostly already existed in mods means that we should buy all their low-content DLC packs. Don't get me wrong though, I think it's absolutely awesome that we get free content and the game is still being worked on, but it's a bit silly to think that just because we get free features it makes it OK to release miniscule packs of DLC for $15. It might be a way to help raise funds for BI to develop more content or something, but should it really be marketed as DLC if that's their end-game?

I wouldn't want two potentially long-ish missions one after the other, especially with work the next day. Saturday and Sunday is perfect as I'm going on holiday next week. If it was a small TvT (10-20 minutes) then sure. Like that TvT we had where one team had to detonate a nuke (or whatever) and the other team at the disarm it.

Is there any way to get AI in vehicles to use autocannons and cannons more in IFVs and tanks? All they use is the coaxial which is annoying, I want them to use main cannons and shit

Keep in mind that a vast amount of Missions are CooP missions, but are also designed for Solo play. Most of these missions are MP Missions due to the fact that you can have respawn, where in SP when you die, you get sent back to the mission selection screen, which a lot of people don't like, because the save system is not reliable at all. Also the Steam Workshop also has a shitton of SP / Coop missions with varying quality.
