Jet fuel can't make convoy ops fun
but it can save you from the suffering if you just let it burn you to death.
going through the ACE Pull requests.

That is insanely good for building/compound clearances. Shame the glowsticks in Arma don't work like SWAT3, but this is a great solution.
Is there any mod or ACE mechanic which allows you to check who the fuck is sitting next to you in the vehicle?
I was playing on Wednesday op with my friend's mates and they had ACE only enabled, yet I could aim at people inside vehicles and see who is who.
Also, they also use full ACE medical system, fuck that :v:
It would be really cool to see large crew served weapons that can be towed. Things like artillery and anti tank guns.

doesn't ctrl show the people inb the vehicle=
Doesn't show where they are though.
Well guys, I may not make it to Saturday's mission. If I don't, feel free to take my slot and decide on what to do with the mission.
I'd still like some feedback though.
Does anyone have that guide to performance? (It was on a site related to BROMA I think)
so, if theres any americans around which the repo didn't work for before (through cdn.prfn.se), try it out now, i've spent a hate-filled night ironing shit out (and from whitefox's network at least, it now seems to work a little better)
well, time to return to my cave :freakout:
So I got Arma 3 a few weeks ago, I'm still a little lost on the more complicated mechanics but I think I can hold my own.
Never been in an op or coop yet, just pub servers and the SP campaign but I heard you guys have events over the weekend. Are they still open/can newbies join/how do I sign up? Thanks.
There's a few AR-15 variants to download before you can play, just follow the tutorial on this thread's OP.

Open to everyone, all you have to do is post here with what slot you'd like to take, and for which mission
Also if you haven't signed up you can always just show up, there are always a few slots that people don't show up for
For the modpack and the server/ts address just follow the guide in the OP
Sadly something else just came up and I can't be the camera guy for today.

Thank you I was having problems before
So I just finished downloading the A3Sync/repo, it was like 18gb and none of the files mentioned in the instructions/OP (like task_force_radio.rar and all of the other ones pictured) are there.
Not sure if I downloaded the right thing, wasted about 4 hours waiting, and now I have no idea what to do.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/fWD0ayq.png[/t]
Instructions say to "follow instructions in task_force_radio.rar", which for me is a similarly-named folder that has no instructions in it, and "extract the userconfig.rar" which doesn't exist.
What is this stuff anyway?
It's all right, don't worry the op is just a little outdated since A3S got support for installing TFR.
Put me into any slot thats still available
It's all right, don't worry the op is just a little outdated since A3S got support for installing TFR.
So what do I do :v:
I would guess that it autoinstalled, but it opened an installer for some other addon and when I pressed 'continue' it gave me an error and closed. Anything else I need to do?
[editline]a[/editline]
Ok, looking through the files it installed, there's a few @ folders with an "addons" subfolder inside of them. There's also an "addons" folder in the main A3 directory, do I need to merge all of them into that?

No.

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Launcher#Mods
Mods > + Local folder: Opens browse folder dialog. User is able to include his local (non-Workshop) mods into Launcher to manage them from one place
mods can be also drag'n'dropped into the Launcher window

Options (Gear icon in upper right) > Mod Management: Allows you to define folders to continuously scan and auto-include any local mods found into Launcher Mods tab. Use Add and Remove buttons to include to delete your folders.
Basically select the folder where you're going to store all those @whatever mod folders in the launcher and you will be able to manage them.
edit: Also userconfig folders (don't worry about "keys") inside the mod folders have to be moved inside the arma 3 main directory.
no, but what you probably should do is look into @task_force_radio, find the plugins and stick them into the plugins folder for teamspeak
past that, i think you're good
[editline]22nd August 2015[/editline]
if you really wanted to i think you could stick all those addon folders into one, but all that'd do is disable you from launching vanilla arma 3
make sure you have teamspeak3 installed
then run the TFAR installer in arma3sync and point it to the correct directories
then do the preset thing mentioned in the OP picture
The optional mods in the readme.txt still work right? Or did they change?
Reason I ask is since the folders it list are @Blastcore and @Blastcore Tracers, I'm not sure if this is outdated as Blastcore is @BC-Phoenix and @BC-Tracers
would this be a bad time to mention that both BLUFOR and OPFOR are only at half strength last I checked?
would this be a bad time to mention that both BLUFOR and OPFOR are only at half strength last I checked?
i am twombly
fuck the cultists
So I got all my addons working, for the op today I guess I'll take Apollo Rifleman to balance out BLUFOR.
Imo Cloak Raider should join Apollo/merge Bermuda squad so BLUFOR and OPFOR are balanced at least.
Tomorrow is full so I'll just join in if somebody else can't make it.

I can't stay the entire session, so if i stay in bermuda at least i'm not taking up a space in alpha which someone may join later
