Ye a bunch of people turned up and tried to take slots that were already assigned and there was 10 minutes of back and forth.
I'm cool with people being chill and just saying "alright fair enough I'll leave" but there were a few people who just stole slots and didn't say a thing as they refused to move.
can we make a rule that you have to test to mission on profans server before we play it to make sure it actually works.

Gonna work on CasualWarfare once more.
Looking into Replacing Full Arsenal and Loadouts with a set of limited Arsenal Profiles which can be set in the Params of the mission. Full Arsenal would still be available as an optional setting in the Params.

That in itself is not a problem. Anyone is welcome to join, even if they can't slot up.
Also Holt why is it necessary to tell you 10 times to shut up? Seeing as you are one of the long-time members, you should be displaying correct behaviour both before and during a mission. I shouldn't have to warn you over steam (which you dismiss anyway???).

The problem was that at least 2 guys slotted up already taken slots. And afaik someone out of them refused to move or ignored any callouts.
End Game seems like an interesting concept but the official servers are dead 100% of the time
in other words, who would be interested in playing it some time, because the more people we can get playing it the better over the 3-6 man group we currently have

I think I was playing Wake Island. It's really annoying how there's like a mile long straight giant stretch of runway, but when I want the AI to move forward at full speed they insist on driving at 30km/h on some little path.

Did the map maker configure the road correctly? AI normally isn't supposed to drive that slow on these kinds of roads.
Try on Altis or Stratis and see if you can reproduce the results. If not, then the map makers may have fucked up the road config and defined it as a dirt road or something.

Yeah, we used to name slots to avoid this problem, but it didn't become a standard/requirement because usually we were lucky if we could hit 80% of the available slots. In these cases it was also frequent that people who turned up with a reservation ended up taking a different slot because why not (especially if it was a critical role). None of us was prepared for this high demand, but it could have been sorted out way faster if people kept their mouth shut and their hands off the keyboard, Honestly at this point I'm all for setting up talk power in the channel when role assigning starts because people lack self control.
Create a shit talk channel
Move people talking shit into this channel where they can talk shit until the mission starts.
If they switch back and still talk shit, kick them.

Am I the only one having trouble with the crews of APCs part of infantry squads dismounting their vehicle during combat despite taking no damage? And this is with VCOM AI.
[B]EDIT[/B]: Nevermind, just saw a earlier post saying it's RHS being a bitch. Although I don't why it wouldn't be compatible with a AI mod.
Also everytime I exit ARMA 3 I get an exception error message saying it exited unusually even though I exited it no differently than I did in the past.
I witnessed one time where everyone was muted during briefing.
It was the best briefing ever.
Also I'd ban everyone who insulted tinter, he's investing time to create a mission every other week and that's fucking based. I don't even know how some people can shit on someone who's actually doing work for this community.
