I witnessed one time where everyone was muted during briefing.
It was the best briefing ever.
Also I'd ban everyone who insulted tinter, he's investing time to create a mission every other week and that's fucking based. I don't even know how some people can shit on someone who's actually doing work for this community.
I want to ban the fuck who did it, but that's cuel's decision
End Game seems like an interesting concept but the official servers are dead 100% of the time
in other words, who would be interested in playing it some time, because the more people we can get playing it the better over the 3-6 man group we currently have
What's it about? Willing to take a shot.
I want to ban the fuck who did it, but that's cuel's decision
was more than one but the guy who went all in is banned for a week or so
What's it about? Willing to take a shot.
It's a CTF-like thing with two opposing teams and enemy AI, that's fairly fancily done.
While I admit that I've written "Kek tinter is buttmad" (but he did sound intensively angry), some other guys, as far as I remember, shouted even worse stuff, and the guy changing names, while I admit I found funny, it was too uncalled for. It's like being in a meeting with your company and you start throwing poos at your collegue, it might be funny in hindsight but that's out of the place period.

PvPvAI Sector Control/CTF
Players assume the role of BLUFOR or OPFOR, have to set up an FOB by eliminating AAF, and then from that FOB move to capture intel locations before the other team (while still fighting off the AAF). Capturing the intel unlocks additional stuff at the FOB to equip your team with, and upon capturing of all the intel, the teams must fight to secure schematics for the device and take them to their capture point.
We only played it 1v1 so it was a bit eh, but I imagine if we manage a full game it'll be nice. Based on people here plus people from the group I mentioned, we currently have 6 people - 3v3.

I admit having had the giggles when Tinter told everyone to shut up, not because I disrespect his authority, but because his angry voice at that moment was more adorable than threatening. Probably should keep my mic muted until the mission starts. That way I can also eat stuff without annoying people in the channel.
The Guy who changed his name just to mock tinter and others was really uncalled for. Maybe I've seen too many of these attempts to find them funny anymore.
IMO FPArma should really start to impose some form of Quality Control into the community. Not for missions itself, but to stop people from shitting up these missions.
If our playercount suffers from it, then so be it, we'll just Adjust the OP's for smaller playercounts, but atleast stop the memespouting and shitting.
The measure to stop custom faces is also a step in the right direction for this, even if I was one of the people with the silly custom faces, I still approve of it.
Edit: By Quality Control I mean Actually Kick / Ban Users as it is happening, and not just try to ignore it. Show people that it is indeed not acceptable behavior.

I played it in a 6 vs 6 and it was certainly something new and entertaining.
basically in the beginning your fight a lot of AI enemies, and rarely encounter other players. As the battle drags on, more and more direct confrontations between the 2 player factions start happening, until it evolves into a full TVT situation.
Played on a pub server, so it was really disorganized, but it was still hella fun, especially Ambushing the enemy player faction at their objective, and stealing their intel.
Current best solution was setting the important people to priority speaker so they don't have to yell over the memespouting and childish giggling.
It's just absolutely disheartening for anyone new joining in or people who don't play arma regularly to have their sessions constantly ruined by people acting like fucking 12 year olds all the time.
Best part? None of them feel bad about constantly shitting up teamspeak or acting like they've been dropped on the head as a child.
Also Holt why is it necessary to tell you 10 times to shut up? Seeing as you are one of the long-time members, you should be displaying correct behaviour both before and during a mission. I shouldn't have to warn you over steam (which you dismiss anyway???).
youre just mad because i compared the 7th cav to scientology
If we can get a few more people interested in End Game, I'll write up a playerlist and we can schedule when to play and who wants to jump on which team. We can just use an official server since player hosting isn't the best (even 1v1) and they're always fucking dead anyway.

duck quacks don't echo. This is a fact and noone knows why.
Okay here we go. Time will be scheduled based on everyone later, so don't worry about that for now.

I'll take a blufor slot as well
I'll go with OPFOR
So, a time for End Game - Weekends seem to be the best so Saturday or Sunday?
Probably 5 to 7PM GMT either day, I think. I guess agree for saturday, disagree for sunday, or elaborate otherwise.
One more thing, here's the "map" of Ilwrath's VR deathmatch. I won't explain more about the mission itself, but if you guys think this looks cool speak up and we can play that after EG.

Though you will have to download mods for that. I'll detail that if we decide to play, though. I believe most are shared with FPARMA's mod pack already, so it shouldn't be too much.
yes yes CSAT is perfect still, just not the glorious USA
Very well. Reposting the player list here for the new page.
